Friday Book Club

It's been a tough, sad week for many people, so I thought we'd open the Friday Book Club with a video that reminds us of all the goodness out there.

And the book club is now open! What are you reading and loving at the moment? I'm consumed by Archangel's Legion. :-)

I live in Somerville, MA, which is one of the communities that is just outside the lockdown zone. For those that don't know parts of Boston and suburbs are under lockdown looking for the suspects of the Boston Marathon bombing. You really lightened my day with this video footage, thanks!!

I am currently rereading Archangel's Storm. I am hoping that you will release a small excerpt of Archangel's Legion sometime. I LOVE all your books and reread them all the time because you are an author that is unparalleled. The best author out there. Write faster ;D

@ Susan and to everyone in Boston: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope the authorities arrest the 2nd suspect quickly.

This week I am trying to finish Belong to the Night by Shelly Laurenston ("The Wolf, the Witch, and the Lack of Wardrobe"), Cynthia Eden ("In the Dark") and Sherrill Quinn ("City of the Dead").
Stay safe, take care, and happy reading everyone.

Thanks for the uplifting video Nalini. Thoughts and Prayers for those in Boston and Texas!

I am about to pick up "WOOL" by Hugh Howey. Seems to be excellent review on Goodreads for this book. After that I am going to try and tackle "WARM BODIES" before I watch the movie. I am a bit dubious about zombies though..... Has anyone else read/watched the movie yet?

@Ang from OZ, my teenage son reluctantly took his girlfriend to Warm Bodies and really liked it (to his surprise).

I read Lone Wolf by Jennifer Ashley this week. A short story from her Shifters Unbound series. ALL he books in this series are great, but the short stories are my favorite.

@Susan I also live in Somerville and am so glad that the second suspect has been captured. I'm very proud of all the law enforcement agencies who did a phenomenal job. My thoughts and prayer go out to all the victims and their families. Boston Strong!

Just finished reading Oliver's Hunger, Scanguards Vampires# 7 by Tina Folsom.

@ annonymous :D Someone gave me a 'Boston Strong' sticker today. The MBTA had that as one of the messages flashing on the back!! They did do a phenomenal job and showed that Boston is strong.

I am now rereading Archangels Consort.
