Finished Lover Unleashed by JR Ward on the first (long) day! I love the brothers; where will they go with the story for the next book? Now I am on book 2 of the Fiftz Clair Chronicles by Holly Black. Very sexy! Man, I can't WAIT for Tuesday!!!!! I have at least SIX new books in current series coming out that day.

I am reading Kiss of Snow, and find it to be by far the best in the series. My plan had been to not start it until Monday when I was on a plane for three hours, but my resolve only lasted for about an hour.

Two books this week I absolutely loved. Thanks to the person who raved about A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. A great book; love the world building. Also read Enemy Within by Marcella Burnard; very good, especially the heroine. Re-read some Shelly Laurenston. LOL funny. Thanks to those who share, I was in total good book shortage (very frustrated) and you gave me hope.

J R Ward's Lover Unleashed, just started so we'll see how good it is.

So many rehearsals this week I haven't had time to read anything but I'm thinking about trying some Shelly Laurentson as her name keeps popping up over and over again on these Friday book club posts!

I've read and enjoyed Lover Unleashed by J.R. Ward and Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione.

Now I'm reading Finders Keepers by Linnea Sinclair. Lots of positive things have been said about her and so far the book is good.

I just finished The Greyfriar by Clay and Susan Griffiths. It took me forever to get through the first third of the page, but once the focus shifted to the title character the book became absolutely fantastic, and I finished the final 2/3 in no time at all. I really can't wait for the sequel to come out.

Like many here and on FB, I'm reading Lover Unleashed by JR Ward. At first I had a hard time warming up to Payne & Manny, but now that I'm a few chapters in, it's going pretty well.

I read Mermaid's Ransom by Joey W. Hill. The plot is strange so I like the second book of this series more.

I read Carola Dunn's Anthem for Doomed Youth yesterday. Currently I'm rereading for the umpteenth time Patricia Wrede's Mairelon the Magician and next is Magician's Ward. After that, maybe a reread of some of Diana Wynne Jones' books (still very sad about her).

Won a copy of Spirit Dances by CE Murphy. Love that series. Think Laurell Hamilton(At least the first few in her Anita Blake series) mixed with Ilona Andrew and you get Murphey's writing style. I love her series. Am also rereading the Kiss of Snow excerpt over and over and over.....

I have to admit, I'm taking a trip down memory lane and reading Sweet Valley Confidential. Objectively, the book is awful, but I do feel nostalgic. MOS will be fat better, I' m sure ;)

Just finished lover unleashed and not completely happy. Would like my HEA to be just that. Never liked the ghost Jane angle anyway. That's why I like the psy/changling series so much, all alive, in the sunshine and not afraid/too messed up to get their HEA. Just hanging out for KOS. Liked the Hawke/sienna match since STS. Happy to see some more Judd too. Have considered the arc on Ebay but husband would be less than happy with $350 on a book.

I just discovered urban fantasy author Seanan McGuire, and I'm binging on her books. I'm on the third in her October Daye series, An Artificial Night. Well-written, and she isn't going over the same material I've read dozens of time. Fresh (at least for me).

Hello,

it was a beautifull spring day in Germany with about 25 degree celsius.... and a lot of sun. So I ignored my headache (results of a wild concert night - Chris de Burgh a wonderfull singer and songwriter and a fantastic performer) and went out sitting in a cafe and read - gues what - lover unleashed. I will finish it tomorrow, and than, let me look at my calender, next week Navarro´s Promise (Breeds), Hidden Embers (Daragon´s Heat) and Dark Enchantment (Dark Magic) and...... still 58 days till Kiss of Snow.
Greetings
Cony

Just finished Spirit Dances by C. E.Murphy, #6 in the series-love it. The main character Joanne Walker is truly kick-ass. Can't wait for the next one but it won't be out till next year.
Read Pack of Lies by Laura Anne Gilman. I love reading books that do not let me down-highly recommend both of them. They are both in a series so check out the first ones.

I have just finished lover unleashed and i just didnt feel like it really had the same edge to it as the others. Did anyone else feel this? I felt like there wasnt enough about Manny and Payne and too much about V and Jane, i didnt particularly like their story first time round and reading about it a second time wasnt any better. I also felt like there wasnt much story line and no lead into the next book which is what we usually get towards the end of JR Wards books.
