Friday Book Club

Before we dive into the book club, I have some more linkage for you.

More great reviews are coming in for Bonds of Justice. Here's a snippet from a review by Leontine of Realms on
Our Bookshelves.
There is an everlasting quality to the storytelling that makes Bonds Of Justice a one-sitting-read....BONDS OF JUSTICE gave all that is important to me as a reader along with two memorable characters I got to fall in love with.
Follow the link to read the full review. I'm getting so excited about the release!

I've also got an interview up at Kylie Griffin's blog, talking travel, books and dolls. (Curious? check out the interview!)

Kiwi author Helen Lowe has just joined The Supernatural Underground, so swing by and say hi.

And fellow authors Jaci Burton and Anya Bast are talking new releases and giving them away, including one you might recognize :)

Now, onto the book club! I've been reading this fascinating book called Play of Passion *grin* What've you been reading and loving this week?

Great interview. The Glow worm cave - I am not one for cold, damp, dark places usually but this one looks very intriguing.
If we ever travel to New Zealand, this one will be on the top of my list.

I am reading Demon Angel by Meljean Brook. It is getting very interesting.

Hi Nalini,

Blogging on the Supernatural underground was fun, talking about "Why I Love Fantasy", but slipping in something on world building as well, which I know you love as well.

I have just started reading Catherynne Valente's "Palimpsest", which is up for a Hugo this year, and is a really intriguing and surreal read so far.

I love the cover of Play of Passion!
Mm... I'm trying all the contests out there to get a chance of having Bonds of Justice early.
I'm reading one of my books from my TBR pile: Nauti Deceptions by Lora Leigh

Just started a book club on Tuesday and reading the first book, Lisa Kleypas' Smooth Talking Stranger. Good so far. Makes me want to pick up the 2 previous books.

I've been reading this fascinating book called Bonds of Justice.
And this other fascinating book called Asleep by Wendy Raven McNair. Excellent youth adult scifi romance story. It's book one of a trilogy. I'm not so patiently waiting for book 2.

Oh Nalini, I like the sounds of Play of Passion *evil grin*

I'm currently reading Mark Del Franco's Unfallen Dead. I like that the main protagonist has lost the majority of his powers...gives an interesting twist to UF. I should hopefully finish that tonight and then I'm going to read an m/m romance and then delve into some YA - Melissa Marr's Fragile Eternity!

Have a great weekend all!

Started Nora Roberts' Bride Quartet series this week. Finishing up on Book #3. I'm a big fan of the "In death" series, hence enjoy books by NR as well.

Nalini -*sniff*! I don't even have BoJ yet and you taunt with PoP! Anyway, I'm finishing Shana Abe's "The Time Weaver." I always forget how beautifully haunting her words are. Have a great Fourth to all my fellow US dwellers.

Oh, how is everyone getting BOJ before me? *sniffle*
Oh, I can't wait for the book to ccome out and, Nalini, POP looks great! Can't wait for it? Is it Hawke's story? Is it?
Have a great weekend, everyone?

I kept reading and The Darkest Passion was not the problem. It was my busy schedule, just as I suspected. Showalter is still delivering the goods! I better order my next Psy-Changeling, I'm one (almost two) behind, but that's because I use them as rewards whenever I finish the final edit on one of my novels.

I recently finished a few historical romances by Lisa Kleypas (Love in the Afternoon, Then Came You, Dreaming of You) and am reading Demon Angel by Meljean Brook.

I did find Bonds of Justice at a book store and will soon be reading that, too!!!

Read BoJ! Loved it! WAhhh~~~ I can't wait for the next few books, I loved it so much, especially as it gave a very good series feel, versus just a stand alone!

I have also read Lisa Kleypas, Love in the Afternoon!

Been rereading some lora leigh Breeds!

And today started, Be thrifty. (not cheap...)

Which is an amazing book I would recommend for EVERYONE and it brings lot of points and practical things for everyone...very informative!

Picked up Bonds of Justice as a reward to myself after social psych final last night.
I swear, if it wouldn't have scared my family, I would have been jumping up and down and screaming at some parts. It was that good. Thank goodness the next book comes out this year.

Hola! Yesterday I read "Bonds of Justice"...what can I say, it was wonderful. I'm amazed at how each story brings something new to the series and that each couple's relationship is not a repetition of prior couples' journeys. (I hope you get what I am trying to say.) Prior to this book I had read the Millennium trilogy, which begins with "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". Definitely recommend the trilogy. Now I am reading "Balancing in High Heels", and after that I'll be reading Adrian Phoenix's "A Rush of Wings" and "Beneath the Skin".

I also read Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas. The Hathaway series concluded in a lovely way. Was sad to hear LK would be focusing on contemps and may not return to the historical world that include the wonderful heroes, such as, Lord Westcliff and Derek Craven. *insert sad face*

Re-read Mine to Possess, my favorite Psy/Changeling book! Got re-acquainted with Max. Can't wait for Amazon to ship Bonds of Justice. Btw, loved the first quote included after the Realms On Our Books review! *sigh*

Hi Nalini, I read Bonds of Justice last night. Book was great (as usual). I love that even though your books are a part of a series, they are not repetitive. Can't wait to read Indigo's book after reading preview...won't reveal her SO as I don't want to spoil it for those who have not read yet. Even the way you revealed her SO was awesome. Judith
