Mostly rereads again for me this week. Still on my old Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick audio kick and reread 8 of her books including the Lavinia Lake & Tobias March trilogy and Smoke in Mirrors.

My only new-to-me read was Meg Benjamin's Take That Ride (Konigsburg #10).

I am reading An Independent Wife by Linda Howard. It was published in the early 1980s. It's about a husband and wife who separated after a year of marriage, and the wife basically finding herself. Once she does that her estranged husband buys the company she works for. He finds out she works for him, and fireworks happen.

I was bored with what I had in my Nook library, so I went looking for something to read before There Should Have Been Eight comes out Tuesday.

For those who like reading Lora Leigh's Breed Series, Dane's Mark is the new book coming out next year. It's about Dane Vanderale and his potential mate. Talk about fireworks! This will be interesting to read.

Currently really enjoying Regenesis by C J Cherryh. About half way through (it's 647 pages in total!). So far it's living up to my high expectations from the original Cyteen. (It's the sequel that was published many years afterwards. I only found out about it a couple years ago, and just recently found myself a copy.)

Finished Highland Dragon Rebel By Isobel Cooper. Really enjoyed it too, more than I expected. I wish it hadn't been a romance though. That part felt forced and unnecessary.

I read Drengr (Starlight Vikings #2) by Skye MacKinnon.
I liked the balance between humor and seriousness.
Hot-Tattie's placement practices take some getting used to at first. “Mysterium Man” takes on its own meaning here, as does the “Shuttle” to their hearts. - I just say: "Ladies, please don't have hysterical fits!" LOL
