I read Archangel's Light. I almost cried when I read the part about Aodhan's capture and rescue. Whoa. I had to keep reminding myself it was before Raphael met Elena. When I read the part of the village (I don't want to spoil that part for anyone), and what Illium and Aodhan found in the kitchen, I almost threw up. I have a strong stomach for a lot of things, but that part, I had to put the reader down for a moment. I loved their backstory, especially when those two stubborn angels first met as little ones.

Right now I'm re-reading Rock Courtship. I finished reading Rock Addiction last night.

Re-reading Archangel's Light, it's so, so, so good; even the parts that had me sobbing

I also loved Archangel's Light, but I'm not rereading it yet because I have to finish my reread of Christine Feehan's last 3 dark books before Dark Tarot comes out in 11 days...am now rereading Dark Sentinel. I do expect to get back to Archangel's Light in a few weeks, however. It was so beautifully written and yes, I also did some crying at certain parts. I also can't wait to read more about them next year in the next Guild Hunter book!!!

Not as much reading time this week. I'm currently finishing up Archangel's Light which I am enjoying.

I also liked Abigail Owen's The Cursed King (Inferno Rising #4) which finished off this series as well as the two companion/crossover series: Fire's Edge and Brimstone Inc. I had a few quibbles, but overall enjoyed this world.

I read Faking Ms. Right: A Hot Romantic Comedy by Claire Kingsley. It was just the right choice for this cold gray week.

I read Archangel's Light, of course. And it was such an intense experience, that I have not read much since then. Before I was in the middle of the 4th Dune book: "God Emperor of Dune". It's a lot to read,so it will keep me occupied for a while...

Never been a fan of friends to lovers trope. I feel the book was written with care but lacked lustre. Maybe because from the moment Ilium took Elena's hunter born sister in his arms, I said to myself: she will grow up in a couple of years.
