Just reread Laura Thalassa's "Pestilence" and am now rereading "War" since her third book "Famine" in the Four Horsemen series comes out next week. Also finally got to JD Robb's "Shadows in Death" probably now my favorite of all the Eve Dallas/Roarke books. I've interrupted my reread of the Guild Hunter books since "Archangel's Sun" doesn't come out for 2 more months (sigh)...I'm now up to "Archangel's Viper". So many wonderful series...you writers need to write faster to keep up with us voracious readers!!!

Just enjoyed Emerald Blaze by Ilona Andrews. Was able to get it from my local library with curbside pickup (WHEEEE) Just what I needed to take a mental health break from real life. Thank goodness for writers and libraries.

I've just been so blown away by Courtney Milan's The Duke Who Didn't πŸ’ It's the first time I've read about a half-blooded Caucasian duke! The other half is Chinese! It's way beyond a sweet, funny, entertaining, delicious and haunting story! The author's note alone is worth Five Captivating Stars!

I also loved JR Ward's The Jackal πŸ’˜ She can do dark/edgy PNR like no other!

@Anonymous: I'm super excited about the release of Laura Thalassa's Famine πŸ’– on Oct 1st too! We could virtually do a Buddy Read πŸ™Œ

finished up my Robb re-read with 'Golden in Death' and re-read 'Archangel's War' then took a trip down memory lane with Dorothy Gilman's 'Mrs. Pollifax on Safari'. Not sure what next, maybe tackle some of my TBR pile before a complete re-read of the Guild Hunter books.

I decided to do a Psy-Changling read while waiting for new books to come out. Right now I'm reading Allegiance of Honor. I still cry when I read about Zie Zen's passing.

Dragonsbane by Sherrilyn Kenyon/McQueen. Had trouble getting into Dark Song by Christine Feehan, but eventually enjoyed it. I think it's because the sub-themes that draw me into a book weren't apparent until 100+ pages in. Tried Rachel Caine and found her too dark for my taste.
