I finished A Madness of Sunshine. I really liked it. When I saw the serious picture of Nalini, for this book, it reminds me of Nora Roberts In Death picture.

Now I'm re-reading Polaris Rising by Jessie Mihalik.

I enjoyed Carla Neggers' Wisconsin Wedding (Welcome to Tyler #3) as well as her Trying Patience.

Am finishing up A Madness of Sunshine and all I can say is wow! It made me want to fly to New Zealand.

Also, I just wanted to say that I know Nalini has down-played the romance. Which I think she was wise to do in comparison to her other contemporary-set books. But on the flipside, I have read many books marketed as "romantic suspense" that didn't even half of the romance that A Madness of Sunshine does. So if readers are reluctant to try the book for that reason, rest assured that while the focus is the mystery the romance is there. Just my 2¢.

I read Malevoent by Jana DeLeon. This was a very creepy thriller with an interesting twist at the end of the book. It can be read as a stand alone. If you want to try it; it`s currently free for the kindle on Amazon.

Christmas in the City is also currently free on Amazon if you are in the mood for a few Christmas short stories.

I´ve a question:
When`ll Berkley release the Wolf Rain paper back novel? (I collect them).

@ library addict . . . Totally in agreement with you. I was prepared not to find anything more on the romance front . . . expected just a hint! Oh, Wow! The special something between Anahare & the Fallen Hero Cop, Will, was way better than just a mystery/romance 💖

A Madness of Sunshine was super amazing! The thriller was pretty low key . . . yet . . . haunting! And yes, the West Coast of NZ was so perfect as an accessory to multiple murders!

Eva, I asked Ashwini a little while ago about Wolf Rain in paperback, and she said they pushed it back to February of 2020 because A Madness of Sunshine was coming out in December. Makes sense, I guess. Still makes for a longer wait for those of us who've been waiting somewhat patiently for the paperback. Of course, not having read it yet due to being preoccupied with other things and having a backlog of books that need reading as a result makes the wait seem longer. (it is finally available at my library though when I get that far, so that's good if I get too impatient.)

@Kim: Thank you Kim. February 2020...- Well at least I´m not the only one who`ve to wait that long.

Read Silver Silence and 2/3 way through Ocean Light. Listening to Wolf Rain which I checked out from library. I'm waiting for 'Madness' from the library. I'm also eagerly awaiting the paperback of Wolf Rain. I have the hardback, but would really rather read in paperback, it's not so heavy for my old hands.(grin)
