Another good reading week for me.

I enjoyed JD Robb's Leverage in Death. It's always fun to catch up with Eve & Roarke.

I also really enjoyed Jeffe Kennedy's Exile of the Seas (Chronicles of Dasnaria #2).

And I liked Julie Miller's Rescued by the Marine and Reese Ryan's The Billionaire's Legacy (The Bourbon Brothers Friends and Family #1).

Read a couple of great books this week:

Wayfarer’s Keep by TA White (Broken Lands Book 3)

Kingdoms and Chaos by Kel Kade (King’s Dark Tidings Book 4)

Both excellent, and have immediately commenced on a re-read of Kingdoms and Chaos

I just started Leverage in Death by J.D. Robb last night, as well as a reread of Whisper of Sin by none other than Nalini Singh. :) I'm also listening to an audiobook of Charming by Elliott James.

Read Leverage in Death by J.D. Robb. Loved it! Skimmed through Born in Death. I laugh every time I read that one. Eve and Roarke with Mavis in the delivery room...priceless! I'm skimming through Promises in Death while waiting for new books to come out next month.

I've discovered a new awesome author: AJA JAMES ❤️ via a friend's rec! I was very reluctant to start. Like . . . please, didn't want to pick up another series with vampires. But being a nice friend :) I started Book 2: DARK LONGING first. My intention was to read one and done!

Surprise! I was totally captivated by fresh world building, wonderful writing, enticing characters, and intricate plot line. I ended up reading and loving all 4 published books. Then preordered Book 5 & 6. I also wrote a couple paragraph review of Dark Longing and posted it on Goodreads. The author read it and asked if I'd like to receive an ARC of Book 5? 6? and 6.5? You could already guess that my answer was an enthusiastic "YES! PLEASE. THANK YOU SO MUCH." I hope you will try The Pure/Dark Ones Series when you feel like wanting something fresh, intoxicating, and smoking sexy!

I read Dark Carousel and Dark Legacy to get ready for Dark Sentinel which was at the library Friday and I read it and loved it. Now time to re-read it and then return it for others.

Also read a couple more of Shelly Laurenston's books I am really enjoying them as well. Eagerly awaiting Legacy in Death, but waiting for the library copy. My budget won't allow me to buy all the books I want to read. The only author I buy in hardback when it comes out is this wonderful lady named Nalini Singh and her Psy/Changeling series.
