Shaking her head in a mute refusal to accept what he was trying to tell her, she whispered, "What have you done?"

"Too much that can never be undone."

Oh my gosh, thank you! I literally screamed and had my roommates running in. I LOVE COUNTDOWNS.

Ok I admit it. I was really annoyed at the big reveal which revealed nothing, and I guess I still am. I personally felt that it was a cheap trick.
This however is FUN. Please keep them coming without naming names. The tiniest little snippet would do.

I do agree with anonymous about reveals that reveal nothing but I also did not find this fun. I also think that I check this site to maintain my interest. If I am not going to get anything interesting I wont bother checking. I think that this is the opposite of what you want. I love your work so much. Sometimes I think you are the only author that is truly a talented writer. I will reread you books forever. There are very few authors sites that I check frequently. If all I am going to get is frustrated then I will just wait for you newsletters to come out.

I guess that my comment seemed unappreciative (oops). I was trying to show the perspective of the consumer. For anyone who is marketing anything I would imagine that it would be important to know what people think. Living in a bubble and not being open to feedback is a way to not grow at all. I am a teacher and often ask the students if something was helpful or not because that is how I get better. Anyone who is selling anything (I would think) would want feedback on customer thoughts so that they have a sense of the readers. If people are afraid of saying what they think then the author, becomes out of touch with their readership. Most people who post love it. When you get people who are devoted to coming to a website that is a great thing for both. If I was disappointing someone I would want to know. Just some thoughts. I love the newsletter. If I, or anyone, feels that the snippets are a little too vague and not as rewarding then people may not check the site as much. As an author, businesswomen, that is something that I thought might be useful. The purpose of the blog is to keep people coming back and not having them be frustrated so I was, actually, trying to help :D

Hallelujah! love the snippet!

Thanks Nalini!

Susan, if I may address your comment...

You are giving your perspective, but please keep in mind that there are many readers who don't share it.

What you think is not necessarily what "people" think--I for one don't share your point of view, at all.

As for people posting differing/negative opinions--there were plenty of those in the cover and blurb reveal threads, so I would imagine Nalini has taken both sides into account.

My 2 cents.

Will you be posting an excerpt before the book comes out?

OMG I never even thought about the "she" being Kaleb's swan missing since he was under Enrique "tutelage." Thx for blowing my mind "Anonymous" - that was pretty cool!

I've always thought that the ghost was kaleb and he's searching for the swan because enrique must have hid her as he used to be a master at traps. Perhaps he was so good that even kaleb himself couldn't find her...that is until now! So excited!!
