Bluebell and Sparkles!
This is beautiful cover. The last couple books have really hit the covers out of the park.

I love that cover so much! <3 Though I have been collecting the international covers since the beginning of this series, I really, really want this one as well heheh.

I like the cover but please dont maje this a gay story. Nothing against gays but it would be really disappointed to me if this two are gays.

Beautiful cover and artwork

I hope this is not a gay story as I've been 'in love' with these characters from the start. (No disrespect to gays)

I always felt we would wait a while for these characters to get their stories told as they are so very special and it would need to be the right story. I've always had a bit of a crush on Aodan and I love Illium too so I feel a little bummed that it may turn out to be a gay love story. I've often speculated as to which special ladies would win their hearts. I will continue to love the characters and this series. I'm just a little sad.

I've just re-read the entire series and I remember a scene in Archangel's Legion where Illium and Aodan hug. It's very powerful and emotional as Aodan has not hugged anyone in two hundred years because of his past trauma. After the book came out there was a Q & A on FB and I remember somebody actually asked if these two were gay. We were told no, they were just very close. Perhaps things have changed over the years. I guess we'll find out in October. I'm still looking forward to reading it.

The cover is beautiful.

Oh My Heart!!! This is a a wonderful news!! Best of 2021.
That Cover is just beautiful.
I'm really, really, really excited about the prospect of an M/M book in one of Nalini's series. I really hope it is.
And to those people who may dislike the idea of an M/M I say you should try it, really just get an book from the genre and give it a go. I was skeptical at first but it's just another kind of romance that can be so powerful. So grab one of Sarina Bowen, Eden Finley, Lucy Lennox, Cambria Hebert books and try it, you can't go wrong with any of them.
Nalini, whatever you do with this book I will love it cause you're just simply amazing!

Looking forward to the book. @Denise have you tried A Warm Heart in Winter by J.R. Ward? She has a few other m/m romances, but that one is deep.

I read J.R Ward, lover at last I think was the first m/m novel I read though it was kinda like a half novel of them but I didn't knew she had another, I will try it. Thanks

I applaud your courage for doing this. I am absolutely delighted. I can’t wait for this story!

I guess I will be disappointed. I dont want an mm story between them. If she wanted to try her hand at this she could have created a new series right ? Why mess with the expectations of what so far has been a straight series ?

There are plenty of mix series out there. I don't understand how people can be surprised by this, it's a story that has been brewing for a while now. And people shouldn't make an opinion without reading it or even having more information about it.

Very disappointed since readers have been told for years the two were just close friends. In the past, Nalini also has said she would not change a series that was traditional romance, that it would stay traditional romance. Very disappointed.

Why not a lovely lady for each angel and then they grow/change and adjust?

I also don’t understand why people are surprised. The books have been heading in this direction since the beginning. I remember Nalini Singh saying that she lets the characters go in the direction they were going to go in. She used Keir as an example that with angels, sexuality is more fluid. I remember that scene very clearly. I immediately thought of Bluebell and Sparkle.Even Bluebells personality has been described as flamboyant throughout the series. Like it or hate it, but it is her story that she is choosing to share with us.

Shame on all those people judging a book by it's cover

Toni has outdone imself. It`s so beautiful!

I'm so excited for this book!! I don't see anything wrong if they end up together, to be honest. What is the difference? It's just people being in love. And you can't really separate straight love from gay love in real life, not everyone is straight so it would be completely normal if there is at least 1 gay couple in a book series, it would actually be more realistic - especially in a book series that has around 13 books so far. Anyway, we shouldn't judge the book before it comes out, it could just be about their incredible friendship (although I have to admit that I would love it if it were M/M and it would for sure be a beautiful love story). Regardless of how the story goes, I can't wait for October!

I'm shocked. These are probably the two biggest characters in the series other than Raphael and Elena. I was sure they would each get their own love interest. If for no other reason than to have two books.

I'm Ok with them winding up together. Or not. But I hated the thought of Aodhan leaving the seven and Illium behind. So I guess on the whole, I'm happy about it. It would have been difficult for a love interest to measure up to this friendship, so...

It's definitely a love story. The two of them wouldn't have gotten equal billing if not.

I have read this series countless times, and I always assumed Illium and Aodhan would end up together. Frankly, there was too much written for anything else to happen. The whole straight vs M/M conversation is antiquated and homophobic, whether you see it or not. I read romances for love stories. L-O-V-E. I've been reading and following Nalini for years, and I've noted on numerous occasions her comments didn't align with the eventual story. Also, it is her prerogative as the writer to not disclose future storylines. I know many authors who would agree they don't necessarily know where a story is going until they get there. Whatever the reason for the coupling vs Nalini's remarks, I'm excited for a more inclusive series.

Whatever the gender, it's all about the love story. Having read Lover at last and cried because you just feel for the caracters right to be accepted for who they are.

So excited by both the cover and the blurb! Can't wait for their story!
