I'm doing research for Kiss of Snow today, double-checking some facts. Even though I write paranormals, I still have to get factual things correct - for example, time differences between different cities and countries.
I am up late its still the 26th here in Florida. 10:45 pm to be exact. I just finished re-reading Archangels Kiss before my next semester of school begins tomorrow.
It's my birthday today so will enjoy doing absolutely nothing all day...well, except studying for the Psychology test I have on Tuesday and make some adult decisions about life. lol
Nalini, with US publication date for "The Heir of Night" being the 28th and Aus/NZ on the 1st, I am flat out (like a lizard drinking!) with blog posts and interviews and giveaways--and still tryng to write the "next book" in the middle of it all! And as if that is not enough craziness, Christchurch continues to shake--over 1000 aftershocks so far since "Godzilla" (the big quake--with apologies to William Gibson) on the 4th.
I went to bed to early last night and woke up 5 hours later at 1 AM in the morning. I've been reading for the past few hours and now am going to make spaghetti and meatballs for breakfast. yum yum Happy Birthday Cherry!
I am in LA on business and so got up at 4:30 a.m (much later than normal in my home time zone) and have been enjoying being productive while everyone sleeps! Counting the HOURS until Bayou Moon and Play of Passion, as well.
Well, it's 10:30 am in Rio now, so I'm having breakfast.I have classes all afternoon and then it's studying, studying and more studying. Happy research!
Hung out with the kids, for the most part. My oldest had preschool, which coincides nicely with my little guy's naptime, so he goes to bed as soon as we get home from dropping her off and I get a few hours of kid-free time.
At work and, since I'm stuck until I get help on my project, I decided to hop over here! 'Kiss of Snow'? Is this perchance Hawke's story? Pretty please! And those of you who haven't checked it out, come and join me for some real life and funny stories at: 'Laughter: Life's Best Medicine' See you there!
