What are you up to as we ease our way out of 2025 and into 2026? 
I did a full tidy up of my study, ready to start new projects and continue current ones. Today, I’m wrangling the dahlia garden thanks to a windstorm yesterday.

Auckland is in the middle of a heat wave after a bunch of rain, so my gardens are a jungle. I’m having fun wrangling things.

How was your weekend, my lovelies? Spring has sprung in NZ, and I managed to get out in the garden to do some tidying and pot up seedlings. What about you? Relaxing weekend?
First dahlia post of 2025! The flowers are blooming - though they’ve had to contend with some crazy winds! Lots of staking and tying to help them stay upright, but so worth it for their gorgeous display. How’s your new year going so far?
Hello my lovelies! I've been in the writing cave for a good while - now I emerge blinking like a mole. 
How are you doing? It's spring in NZ, so I'm tempted to head into the garden store and buy some colorful seedlings for the garden. Though of course, once I walk into a garden store, somehow my entire shopping cart gets full!

Hello my lovely readers. How was your weekend?
I spent one day tidying up my garden and getting in some spring bulbs so they'll sleep through the colder months in readiness for spring. I might also have baked bread and voluntarily tidied the kitchen. 20 year old me could not have imagined these as fun weekend activities for me.
What about your hobbies today would surprise a younger you?
Hello my lovelies! How has the year been treating you so far?
I've been busy going over the Storm Echo copy edits, and starting work on the next Guild Hunter (early days, so I can't share anything yet, but I will as soon as I can!). Oh, and the next Hard Play book (Danny) is in edits, and I should have an official release date for you soon.
In the weekends, I've been baking treats and sprucing up the garden - this past weekend we had huge winds come through and flatten a few poor plants! Hopefully they'll all bounce back.

It's been a while since we caught up. What are you all up to at the moment?
I spent most of the weekend clearing out a garden in readiness for spring, and making sure my dahlia bulbs were happily stored for the planting season. Also, I ate cake. Much cake. Ashwini's been baking and she keeps dropping things off! As a supportive sister, I feel it's my duty to eat my way through the deliciousness.
