Ashwini & Janvier

Ash and Janvier's book is out on Tuesday!!!! Here's a glimpse of when we first met them, back in Angels' Pawn.

Archangel’s Shadows was everything  I wanted it to be. It did justice to two of my favorite characters, making their story worth the wait, and still kept me full of anticipation for the next chapter . . .  ~ Jessica at Rabid Reads

If you're in the UK & Commonwealth, and you had trouble getting hold of  Angels' Pawn, Angels' Dance, Angel's Wolf, or Angels' Judgment, they are now all available separately as ebooks, or together in Angels' Flight!

You can see the new cover to the bottom right.

(Angels' Flight has a slightly different release date in Austraila and NZ.)

 ~

Don't forget, Angels' Dance is also available as a stand-alone ebook in the US & Canada. See the cover to the left!

Also, if you're a Galen and Jessamy fan, I'm working on a short story featuring these two. :-)

~

At last year's conventions, I had some "I ♥ Judd" and "Judd is my Boyfriend" buttons. They were created for me by The Busy Badger, and if you missed out on getting a button and would like one, she now has them up in her Etsy store (along with magnets). :-)

Angels' Dance E-Book

Look! The gorgeous cover for the US/Canada version of the e-book for "Angels' Dance". I adore it!

This is Jessamy and Galen's story, originally part of ANGELS' FLIGHT. So if you bought Angels' Flight, you already have the story - this is for folks who only wanted this novella from the anthology. Release date: December 31st

In other exciting news, my UK publisher will be re-releasing ANGELS' FLIGHT in January, so if you're collecting the UK editions, you can grab the book then for a matching set.

There's no date yet for the stand-alone e-release of "Angels' Dance" for the UK & Commonwealth, but I've made the request, so watch this space!

Cover Love: Archangel's Storm!!

What an awesome day it is today - Angels' Flight is now out (woohoo!) and I can share the amazing cover for Archangel's Storm (out September).

My heart stopped when I saw this cover, it's so beautiful. I love it to pieces!!!! The hair, the wings, the background, the sword, it has everything I wanted! I'm not sure if you can see the facial tattoo on this size image (click the cover for a larger image), but trust me, it's there!

Huge thanks to artist Tony Mauro and the Berkley Art Department!

Interview, Hawke's Bay, & Tangle of Need

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend and the week's getting off to a good start.

First up, I have an interview up at the Book Pushers today, talking about the Guild Hunter series.

Also, a reminder about my appearance March 1st at the Flaxmere Library for those of you in the lower North Island.

I'm shifting focus from Archangel's Storm to Tangle of Need today as the typeset pages have just landed. This is the final time an author sees the book before publication - time to catch any sneaky typos or other errors that might have slipped in. Plus, it's a chance to read the book again!

And last but definitely not least, only one more day to go until Angels' Flight hits the stores!

Friday Book Club

Time to talk books!  What are you reading and loving at the moment? I recently reread Jayne Ann Krentz's Sweet Fortune - got to love Hatch!

And here are couple of quotes to take you into the weekend (5 days to go till the release date!)

"You pinned his wings to a wall with seven crossbow bolts."

~ from "Angels' Pawn" part of the ANGELS' FLIGHT Anthology

He said, "It's more comfortable here," in a low purr of a tone.

It was a dare, no doubt about it.

Writing

Had a wonderful insight into one of the characters in ARCHANGEL'S STORM earlier tonight - it colors everything in the book to date, so I'll need to do another run through the draft, but it's totally worth it!

Here's today's countdown quote:

He didn't budge.
"Release me."
"It's an insult you've given me, Jessamy."

~ Galen and Jessamy in "Angels' Dance" part of the ANGELS' FLIGHT Anthology (8 days to go!)

Angels' Flight - 9 Days to Go!

Pushing off the door, she walked very quietly to the bed and sat down on the edge. "I thought they made you up. Like the bogeyman."

"The Guild recruits and trains some of the deadliest men and women in the world. We need a bogeyman."

~ Sara and Deacon in "Angels' Judgment" part of the ANGELS' FLIGHT Anthology

p.s. The JD Robb giveaway closes tomorrow, so don't forget to enter if you haven't already.

Angels' Flight Countdown

ANGELS' FLIGHT releases Feb 28th! Woohoo! I thought I'd do a countdown to the release date by sharing short pieces from the novellas. Here's the first one!

She stepped out of reach. "Go put on a shirt and get your mind out of bed."
"Impossible with you around."
"Pretend I'm holding a rifle. In fact, pretend I have you in the crosshairs."
Janvier sighed, rubbing at a jaw shadowed by morning stubble. "I love it when you talk dirty."

~ Ashwini and Janvier in "Angels' Pawn", part of the ANGELS' FLIGHT Anthology
(An "Angels' Pawn" excerpt is also available on the website).

Angels' Dance Excerpt

...is now available on the website! I hope you all enjoy this glimpse of Galen and Jessamy's story. The excerpts for all the other novellas in the Angels' Flight anthology are also available on the site.  (Angels' Judgment, Angels' Pawn, Angel's Wolf)

The newsletter will be going out in the next hour or two, so keep an eye on your in-box. If you'd like to join the newsletter, follow this link!

Angels' Dance

I'm currently working on Galen and Jessamy's novella - I thought you all might like a little sneak peek. Jessamy isn't in this particular bit, but it's from her point of view.

Unedited advance excerpt from Angels' Dance

A ringing blow with the flat of the blade against Dmitri’s cheek, a kick to the gut and suddenly, Galen had the advantage, the tip of his broadsword touching Dmitri’s jugular as the vampire’s chest heaved where he lay on his back on the ground. “Yield.”

Dmitri’s unblinking gaze locked with Galen’s, the merciless predator within the sophisticated vampire very much at the forefront. But his voice, when it came, was a lazy purr languid as a summer afternoon. “You’re lucky the babies are watching.”

Galen didn’t so much as a flinch, his focus absolute.

Dmitri’s lips curved. “Bloody barbarian. I yield.”

Angels' Dance releases next year as part of the Angels' Flight anthology. Updated info on that to come soon.

Angels' Flight

I've sent in the edits for Archangel's Blade, and am now back at work on Galen and Jessamy's novella. The novella is titled Angels' Dance, and will release March 2012 as part of the Angels' Flight anthology (in paperback and ebook).

As well as Angels' Dance, the paperback will feature the long-requested print edition of Angels' Pawn, along with a reprint of Angels' Judgment (Sara and Deacon's story), so it's a good chance to get most of the GH novellas in one go. If you've previously read one or both of the other novellas, not to worry - Angels' Dance is turning out to be a little longer than my other novellas, so you'll still get good value.

Let me know if you have any questions. :-)

Kiss of Snow Countdown Quote #3

"Your pelt," a lazy voice drawled as he walked into the clearing around Lucas's home, "would make a nice coat for my mate."

(Who do you think is speaking? About who?)
