I got 2 hours of sleep last night because I told myself I'd read for an hour before bed. Instead I finished it. Magnificent!

Finished it, couldn't help myself and try to finish it tomorrow, had to have it in one go. I cried so hard at the beginning. And it was so worth it ❤️❤️❤️

I know that so many people are praising this book. I have purchased all her books except for her Madness of Sunshine as she went in a different direction and I am glad she did- it just was not my style. However, if she wanted to change to male / male romance I would have preferred her to start a new series just like she did with her other books. I don't read her books for same sex romance. I was so looking forward to what wonderful woman each of these guys would meet and fall in love with. Sadly this will be the end of my buying her books.

I'm about a third of the way through, and so far it's terrific.

I finished (stayed up late) and am starting my re-read ... I loved the contrast of yesterday and today. But I am hung up on the newsletter where she says - their timelines are not our own. May be a new arc with Illium and Aodhan till he becomes an archangel ?? Or at least some more books of them perhaps.

I would have still preferred two books and not mm but she made it work so that in the end it 'felt' right.

I read it. It was ok. I liked the division into Yesterday and Today, and the insight into their pasts, which I think did a really good job of making the relationship between them seem inevitable, because of how deeply their lives have been entwined since they were young. And I have no objection to a MM romance, and it makes sense that sexuality and attraction is fluid and changes over a long lifespan - I think that's true for many humans. However, I'm left feeling not-as-satisfied with the book because the relationship that is only starting at the end of the book feels slightly incestuous to me, like two brothers falling in love. I think it's beautifully-written, but I don't think I'll be tempted to re-read this book.

As I am reading Archangel's Light, I am reminded what Keir told Ellie in the Medica at the Refuge when she saw Keir with his hand on one of the squadron leaders Ellie knew and teased him. Keir told Ellie "Love has many faces. However, for you there will only be one love." I think that's what Illium and Aodhan went through with this book.

I still have to finish reading the book. So far, so good. Two stubborn people who have difficulty with their "fee-fees" as Ellie puts it.

If one of them had been a woman, not one person would bring up the term incest. If there was a little girl Angel who was best friends with a little boy Angel, it would be a forgone conclusion that they would be together when they were adults.

Let me start by saying I enjoyed the book. I feel that an author has creative rights to take a story where they want. By the same token, as a reader I have a right to like or dislike a book. I have a right to continue to engage with the story or walk away. I see both sides to the argument that people are having. I typically read male/female books. That being said I feel this book was more about the deep bonds of love and growth than gender. In the end it did not feel to me like a book about two men but about a relationship that I was interested in. I credit it to the writer and the care that was taken to craft the story. For me reading is a joy. This book made me happy while also helping me to think about love, commitment and how our past shapes us. I am looking forward to more in this series.

I absolutely just loved this book, i read this twice now and loved it both times, i have been a relationship with 2 men for 10 years and i am a woman so the people talking about incestuous relationships and they will not read it again because of mm is just sad in this day and age is sad. If everyone will look at these two as just people and not men it would be wonderful read this without thinking of gender and see if they like it they would be amazed, i liked that the author shared the past and present it explained everything so much better, i am looking forward to the next book and exploring more of there relationship and i hope she puts them with a women for a awesome throuple. My men agree we all 3 love us some Nalini

I absolutely loved this book. I just wish I didn't read it so fast, now I have to wait a year for the next one.

I loved the book, and will re-read it, but I felt it was only the first half of the story.

I think Nalini was between a rock and a hard place. The rock was that they belonged together, and if they hadn't been many people would be mad, and walk away. The hard place is the fans who wanted a typical Nalini book, and would get mad and walk away from an M/M book. In my opinion, she made the right choice, but didn't go the full way.

It felt like the spark had been ignited, the MC had come together, but it was missing some very important Nalini signature parts! The second half of the story, and I hope we get a novella or another Illium and Aodhan book (clarifying that it wouldn't be necesary for the story for the more classical readers), to see their full story of coming together and being each other's half for eternity.

I couldn’t get into this book fully. I liked the flashbacks but it felt like short stories. I haven’t finished it yet. I guess I’m just really disappointed when I envisioned Illium and Adohan with their own books and just BFF’s. I miss Nalini’s writing like the beginning of the series and her early Psy-Ch books. I know peoples writing evolve but just couldn’t get into this book :/
