Threshold of Annihilation by TA White! It's the 3rd book in the Firebird Chronicles and it's so so good! I highly recommend her books especially this series and the Broken Lands series

Mixed thoughts about Abigail Owen's The Protector (Fire’s Edge #4). I liked the heroine, but loathed the hero. The overarching plot certainly moved forward.

Currently rereading Legacy, an old Jayne Ann Krentz category that she has self-published in digital.

Also working on my list of stuff I want to prioritize reading next year. It's fun to go "shopping" in my TBR mountain. There is stuff I've forgotten I purchased.

Mikoto and the Reaver Village by Forthright
Oh my goodness. Want to escape your life and reality for just a bit? You need to try Forthright, if you haven't already. I did a bit of re-reading, to remember characters and events before I started this one. So, if you've never read Forthright before, it's better to start with Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox - which is still my favorite - because this is a complex world with many characters and events.
But Mikoto is still a great addition to the overall series, advancing the timeline and filling in additional details, as well as including a lovely new plot which concludes in this book, answering a question you'd never thought you'd ask about true love. What if the person you fell in love with isn't the person you can see before you? Yes, you think you know this plot. You don't, lol, you really don't.

Really enjoying "Tied" by Carian Cane (warning, it's rather dark), and "Celta Cats" by Robin D. Owens. I've started "Hearts and Swords" to understand the context of the first story in "Celta Cats" better. We'll see if I get drawn more into the series or not. Otherwise, still bouncing around somewhat among several books. (as you can maybe tell by the above)

After re-reading the guild hunter series, I'm now working my way through the psy-changling series. I'm currently on Heart of Obsidian. Loving all the books as usual. My only frustration is the maps/images (such as Lauren geneology). My reader doesn't allow me to increase the size and I can't read it. It would be lovely if these could be posted on your extras page!
