I read Her Last Word by Mary Burton. It´s a psychological thriller with a touch of romance.
Also finished Whisper by Lynette Noni. It`s a Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel about a young girl who can create things with just a word.

I loved Honor Raconteur's "Magic and the Shinigami Detective". It's not exactly romance, not exactly steam punk, not exactly parallel universe, and not exactly early 1900s. Most of the story is told from the point of view of Henri Davenforth, a police examiner who is assigned a new partner, Jamie Edwards, for the purpose of investigating a series of crimes. I don't want to spoiler Henri's and Jamie's introduction to each other, so won't say any more here.

It has been a while since I've read and re-read a story within the same week. This just caught my attention.

Slow reading week for me (too much on my To Do list).

I really enjoyed Amanda Quick's The Other Lady Vanishes (Burning Cove #2).

I am almost finished rereading Shards of Hope in my partial series reread. Still eagerly anticipating Ocean Light.

I just finished rereading “A Very Proper Monster,” by Elizabeth Hunter. This is such a delightful story set in her Elemental World. Tom and Josie are amazing characters and the story has plenty of humor and drama that I think many will enjoy. I have decided to reread it again. It is a novella that is a part of “Beneath a Waning Moo: A Duo of Gothic Romances. The other novella is by Grace Draven. I did not care for that one as much but that is due to preferences. Grace Drave is another excellent writer who has bookI enjoy.
