Read new-to-me author, Robyn Bachar's Relaunch Mission (The Galactic Cold War #1). It's been described as Firefly meets James Bond, which is an apt description, though more in a homage way than plot-wise. There was a lot going on and there were several subplots I would’ve liked to have seen more fully explored. But overall a very fun read with a well-matched couple who had great chemistry together. I would recommend it to Sci-Fi Romance fans.

I also enjoyed Alissa Callen's Down Outback Roads (Outback Dust #2).

Just finished Pancakes, so next up in my complete Psy/Changeling series reread in chronological order is Tangle of Need.

Only 47 days to go (or 49 depending upon which side of the pond) until Silver Silence #TeamStarlightandHerTeddyBear! Less than 50 days! I am so excited!

Read Bride by Command by Linda Winstead Jones. Read (for the however many times) Archangel's Blade and skimmed Archangel's Shadow.

When available been reading Hugh's snippets by Ilona Andrews on their website. Trying to be very patient with White Hot coming out next month.

After White Hot comes out, then teddy bear mania (aka Silver Silence) comes out. :) Can't wait!

I just finished the latest installment of
Nicky Charles' lycan/others series, 'Deceit can be Deadly.' To me, the world Nicky Charles has created in this series is as compelling and fascinating as the world of Mercy Thompson created by Patricia Briggs (and, of course, the world of the Angels and the PSI :). I guess the book can be read well enough as a stand-alone. However, unless you know the older books in the series I'd recommend to start at the beginning ('The Mating', 'The Keeping', 'The Finding', ...), because they provide a lot of the background of characters involved in the story ...

Just finished John Scalzi's 'Collapsing Empire' - it's an intriguing space opera romp with laugh-out-loud moments and characters with heart. I'm looking forward to the development of the romance between Cardenia and Marce to come in the sequel.

Just finnished Wintertide by Linnea Sinclair. Loved it.
Someone recommended this author to me and I decided to start with one of her stand-alones, so I read An Accidental Goddess and loved it.
After that one, I started reading Gabriel's Ghost (Dock Five Universe #1), but had to put it down, because the writing style was anoying me and I don't like to read books when they are pissing me off or any other negative emotion, that has nothing to do with the story itself, but my current mood. In this case, I'd just finnished a great book (AAG) and instead of GG being in the same vein, it was writen in a diferent perspective entirely and I wasn't in the mood for it at the time. (For those wondering, GG is writen in 1st person POV, wich isn't my favorite style of writing, specialy when it only has one side telling the story, particullarly in romance stories, although in this case I don't know if it is 1 or 2 voices, as I'm only in the 3 or 4th chapter, but it seems only the heroine voice telling the tale.)
I plan on continuing the book, as the story was interisting, but not soon.
After that, I was starting to go in a reading slump, so I decided to try something different to stave it of, and picked historical romance. It has been a long time since I last read one so it seemed apropriate. I read Autumn Bride (Chance Sisters #1) by Anne Gracie because the blurb sounded interisting and not the usual Regency type story, and I wasn't disapointed. It was great and I plan in continuing the series soon.
After I read My Defender (B&B #8) by Alanea Alder. Still one of my favorite series and can't wait for the next one.
Then I wanted to try other of Linnea Sinclair books, and chose Wintertide seeing as it is a prequel story to AAG, taking place thousands of years before and more fantasy romance than sci-fi romance. It was realy good, even as it was all in the heroine perspective, with some small snippets of others, but not in 1st person POV, and I loved it. Wished she had writen more books in this Universe (Raheira), in any format or timeline. Either way, I'll read more of her books.

In between I've been listen to the Psy-Changeling novellas in audio. In no particular order. Just finnished Beat of Temptation and the next is either Anne's or Stephan's.
It's been a good reading week for me, even with the set-backs.

Patricia S. did you see the long White Hot snippet on Ilona's blog?
Makes May 30th closer and yet farther away at the same time. Blog also mentioned that Gordon is working on Rogan POV.

I am in my Psy Changeling reread as well.

I have also had to recreate my book spreadsheet. Somehow my tablet has lost the most current one so I am recreating it. It is reminding of some good series that I have yet to pursue and some interesting stories that are in my TBR file. Now if I could only organize my Kobo library as well as I can organize my spreadsheet I would be very happy!

Ladyreadsalot66 yes I did. Loved Rogan's comment at the end of the snippet. Waiting for Rogan's POV. They are also working on Hugh's book right now. Yippee!

With Silver Silence sandwiched in between White Hot and Wildfire let the reading marathon begin. Yay!
