Writing

I'm currently going over the final typeset pages of SHIELD OF WINTER, trying to catch those sneaky typos.

What are you up to?

Rediscovering your work (just finished Desert Warrior) which means that I am "researching" so no time to study anatomy, spanish or statistics. Ok, nobody tell my kids or hubby!

Rereading Psy/Changeling books so I will be ready for Shield of Winter. I read all the way through Beat of Temptation so will take a bit of a break before I start Mine to Possess.

Also need to catch up on TV shows which I got behind on during the Olympics.

Trying to finish a story I started six months ago, without really remembering exactly what frame of mind I wanted to evoke from it.

Swap? I'll edit Shield of Winter and you can finish this story for me!

Trying to put out a number of fires in my life, but a good chunk of my consciousness is counting the days to the release of Shield of Winter.

I'm reading Murder of Crows by Anne Bishop. It came out today and I immediately rushed to the bookstore to buy it.

Taking a break from studying for (arguably) the biggest test of my life. If you want any help with finding typos, I'm an expert! ^_^

Your author profile on BErkely Jove it is a bit out of date. It says you are currently living in Japan

Nalini Singh

On Writing Romance:
Nalini has been writing as long as she can remember and all of her stories always held a thread of romance (even when she was writing about a prince who could shoot lasers out of his eyes). She loves creating unique characters, loves giving them happy endings and she even loves the voices in her head. There's no other job she would rather be doing.

On Nalini:
She was born in Fiji and raised in New Zealand. Currently she lives, works and writes in the exotic location of Japan.

So far, she has worked as a lawyer, a librarian, a candy factory general hand, a bank temp and an English teacher and not necessarily in that order. Some might call that inconsistency but she calls it grist for the writer's mill.

Vices:
Books, chocolate and travel.
