I'm slowly working my way through a re-read of the Hunger Games. Went and saw Catching Fire last night and it was amazing! By the way, I love the cover for Shield of Winter!

I am rereading the Samantha Jallico Richard Addison series by Suzanne Enoch. It is a four book one novella contemporary series which is unusual for her. Sam (one of the worlds best cat burglars) meets Richard (a English billionaire who is also a Marquis)when she tries to rob him and ends up saving his life when a bomb goes off. Romance blossoms when they work together to prove she didn't set the bomb

Hi,
I read the sweetest, cutest novella of the year. "Dragos takes a holiday" by Thea Harrison (thank you Nalini for introducing her - could you try for the titel "sweetest, cutest novella of the next year" with a small novella featuring some cubs we all adore - pretty please with a cherry on top).
The Peanut plays a mayor role, but Dragos and Pia are part of the story too - naturally... Highly recomended!!!
I just started on the new book by S.E. Smith - Ha´ven´s Song, unfortunately I had to work, so I am not far into it.

I am reading "Hot Blooded" the second in a series featuring Jessica McClain. It is a paranormal urban fantasy featuring a different take on shifters. The first ended so abruptly I don't feel like this is actually a second installment. I would have been upset if the second one wasn't written yet!

I just finished Shine Shine Shine by Lydia Netzer and I was surprised to find that it was very, very good. I don't think I've read such a unique book in a long time. The book only has shades of magical realism to it. It is somewhat akin to A Prayer for Owen Meany by Irving, but without the sad ending. I wouldn't say the writing is the best I've seen but that isn't what makes this book, it is the story itself and the characters who inhabit it. Most of all this is a book about finding oneself in a society that tries its best to make cookie cutter humans that are no fuss or bother to anyone. It's about breaking out of cookie cutter life to stand tall in your own uniqueness. And it's about realizing that you have to really accept yourself to accept others and to have them truly accept you. Once you inhabit these people and their world, they will stay with you for a long while.

And one of my book reading friends just finished the Psy-Changeling series and is going back for the second read. We both love the world building and the journey of the Psy.

Can't wait for Vasic's story and I agree, a short about the cubs would be great. But first I want some Ash and a certain Cajun. Any chance of that?

I just finished the first eleven books of Psy-Changling. I'd read Guild Hunter books already (which was introduced to me by my bookaholic husband {yes, a guy that likes romance books!}) and decided to finally give in to your other series. I'm upset I didn't pick them up sooner because they're excellent. And I'm extremely excited that Heart of Obsidian is coming out in paperback on Tuesday in the States. Very desperate to get my hands on it.

Oh Anonymous you will LOVE Heart of Obsidian. It brings together so many of the storylines and the story of the two main characters is so touching.

Right now I am reading SAINTS OF THE SHADOW BIBLE by Ian Rankin. The book has it all...John Rebus is back and it gets gritty, dirty and sometimes downright mean in foggy old Edinburgh
Highly recommended!

I am enjoying Archangel's Legion. Trying hard not to read it to fast. I like to savor good books, even though I want to read them in a couple of days! It is killing me waiting to see what happens!
