Release Celebrations!!

Archangel's Kiss will officially release on Feb 2nd (U.S.) time, so only a few hours to go!! I hope you all enjoy reading about the next stage in Elena and Raphael's relationship.

Lots of things related to AK are going live today, so here's a linkfest.

I have a
Dear Reader letter up at Penguin's Paranormal page.

Also, a new interview has gone up at
Calliope's Domain.

And I woke to find a number of great new reviews!

I was extremely lucky, my bookstore just got the book in today (Feb 1) and I'm about to sink into it, I probably won't surface until 3am.

Yay for release day! Looking forward to reading Archangels Kiss, I even re-read the first book in preparation so everything would be fresh in my mind. Hoping my copy arrives soon! Best of luck Nalini! I know everyone is going to love it ;)

It's one of the books on my "treat" pile...doing my Honours means that I read an academic book...then one from my treats! Luckily I can double dip into your books Nalini as the thesis is on paranormal romance! LOL

OMG! I've been waiting for this book since forever. I've been haunting my local Borders for weeks in hopes that they might "accidently" put the book on the shelf early. (No luck.) Tuesday can't come soon enough for me.

Does anyone know where a uk resident can buy the ebook version of this? It's restricted on sites like diesel ebooks and books on board to US residents and I really really want it and don't think I could stand having to wait another month to get it.

I am so green with envy as it doesn't get released until April in the UK, also the cover in the states is better then the one in the UK

Happy release day, Nalini! I'm so excited. I won't be able to get it until Thursday, which will drive me nuts for the next two days, but I'll survive. Somehow...

DH went out on a recon mission early this AM and picked up my copy and I have already devoured it!!! IT IS AMAZING. I re-read Angel's Blood yesterday and went right into Archangel's Kiss. I just wish I didn't have to wait until 2011 for the next book :-)

I went to my Barnes & Noble Monday evening Feb. 1st and begged them to look in the backroom and snapped up a copy. I gobbled it up then went and reread Angel's Blood and now am about to reread AK. Love it!!!!

Gena Showalter is pimping Archangel's Kiss over on her blog, and I totally agree with her assessment of it!

There's an A- review by Jane at Dear Author. :)

But alas, the book is still a no-show at Fictionwise.

Aileen - I'm in the same boat as you, a couple of weeks ago it was available on Books on Board but now it seems all penguin/roc/ace/berkley titles are not available in the UK. I've pre-ordered mine from Amazon and am just hoping for an early release.
Surwat - totally agree with you about the cover, the US version is gorgeous, the UK's is just meh unfortunately.

Hi Nalini,
Greetings from a Brazilian fan... I’ve just finished ‘Archangel’s Kiss’. What a book!!! Cheers!

Loved, loved, and loved it. Beautifully written, a stunning story, enchanting, and I’m in love with the Guild Hunter series.

At first I thought nothing could possible outstand the Psy-Changeling series in your special dimension, but you made it!

I couldn’t believe in my eyes when the book’s last word came to be. I kept “turning the pages” in disbelief... I wanted more, too much more of their story, of their world...

Please tell us that you won’t give away Elena&Raphael as the leading characters of the series, because they have way too much things to tell us yet, for once we have now loads of unanswered question about them. And the ‘seven’ – just amazing – Am I wrong in suspecting that their struggles with the hating-loving-respecting-accepting Elena have just begun? And... I would do anything to ‘watch’ how two angels dance!

I can’t fathom how we will manage the reality of waiting a year to know what will be of them all when in N.Y. (laughing)...

Congratulations!
A.K. is already at my ‘rereadable shelve’

Thanks,
Mônica

I simply love this book. Thank you!

Congrats, Nalini, for another great book. I pre-ordered it on Amazon, and got it on Thursday. Didn't get much sleep that night as I couldn't put it down before I finished ;-) But do you really want me to wait for another year for the next Angel Book? That's torture... Ok, I will get the next changeling one as well, but that'll last a couple of hours only as well... Anyhow, I appreciate your stories, keep them coming!

Cheers from Germany,
Miriam

The second installment Archangel's Kiss is another page-turner although I wasn't that blown away as by 1st book. You can find synopsis and description of plot everywhere so I'll limit myself to points that I've missed:

length: I think the book would really need more pages, like 100, to cover the story better, we jump in the Refugee too much when I would spend more time with Elena learning the angelic basics.

visuals: I know female authors do not care about other females bodies, but really, we guys need graphical descriptions. Ms Singh concentrates on males, fair enough, yet I would love to know how curvy Michaela is, for example.

flying: Elena learning to fly should be one chapter alone, I would have loved to see how she started using her wings, to listen to wicked remarks by Illium about her butt poking in the air. the few lines with Raphael were not enough. I mean flying.. FLYING, it should be a thrill, no?

restrain: I know this isn't erotica but when an author use blunt language why not give us more details in sex scenes, yes? and all the time Raphael talked about that he would break Elena and that's why they cannot have intercourse and then it happens and it's just vanilla sex. nothing special. nothing horrible happens. quite disappointing. why not waiting until Elena can fly then, hmmm?

Still, Archangel's Kiss is excellent written, sensual and deep moving I will read the 3rd book for sure.

Your male reader (yes, yes you've got at least one)
