Friday Book Club & Guest-Blogging

I'm guest-blogging over at Literary Escapism about Sympathetic Characters. Come on over and say hi.

Now, onto today's book club. I read India Grey's Powerful Italian, Penniless Housekeeper last night and loved it! Two wonderful, nuanced and likable characters, lots of emotional heart and a great setting.

You can check out an excerpt here.

I remember reading a really good review of this book somewhere, but in spite of my searching I can't find it now. However, thank you for whoever pointed me in Ms. Grey's direction!

Okay, what've you been reading and loving this week?

Ok I'm reading Shades of twilight by Lara Adrian; It's taken me over a week to get to page 157 but it's not the book's fault, it's mine; I've been too tired to read after work and have only been reading on my lunch time which consists of 30 minutes only.

Well, it's still Thursday here (yay PST), but I've read a bit this week. One is Sarah McCarty's newest shifter anthology Wild Instinct. It was good, but left a lot hanging

Am currently rereading Lessons in French by Laura Kinsale for review.

Other than that...not much. Been busy. *sigh*

I finished "Big Bad Wolf" by Chritine Warren (I laughed a lot during reading. It was like: find her/grab her/hold her.*g*) and "Bewitched" by Sandra Schwab. She`s a German autor who publish her books in English (www.sandraschwab.com). Reading this book was like a fairy-tale.

Just read Ecstasy Unveiled by Larissa Ione. It's book 4 in her Demonica series. Awesome read!

If you like sexy complex demons, vampires, wargs, angels mixed in with interesting humans with some humorous dialogue and terrific world building then you have to try this series! Love it!

I'm currently reading Eclipse (Stephenie Meyer). I'm enjoying it, but it is leading to a few ranting moments :)
