Hey, Nalini! Hope you're having a great week. My rec is a historical romance that came out a couple days ago: Surrender of a Siren by Tessa Dare. A great book (goats on a boat? hysterical)

Just out of curiosity, is the problem of someone writing in your name in Amazon solved yet?

Tina

Still working on it. So please pass the word on if you know readers who aren't aware of this yet.

I'm currently reading Deanna Raybourn's Silent in the Sanctuary, which I'm enjoying. I'm also looking forward to getting back to Anne Bishop's The Shadow Queen and starting Patricia Briggs' Hunting Ground.

Hi Nalini!

This week I just finished Jacquelyn Frank's new one "Pleasure," and I recommend it to anyone who has already read "Rapture." It also introduced her new series coming out in January at the end of the book. Also, I just started reading Christina Dodd's "Storm of Visions," and I have to say it looks very interesting!

I just started Marliss Melton's Show no fear, good so far, but I always enjoy her Seals.
Good luck with your name problem!

I've been traveling this summer and just recent returned home to a waiting copy of Alyssa Day's "Atlantis Unmasked." I've really enjoyed her Atlantis series. In every book, she introduces a new element to the world she's created.

Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs which was FANTASTIC.

I'm re-reading a bunch, as I'm feeling blah about the books on my TBR pile.

I broke down and bought Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning yesterday in hardback. I wasn't going to. I was doing so good; I waited a whole year for Faefever to come out in paperback before I bought it, but I couldn't do it again! After reading Faefever in 2 days, I had to get Dreamfever and then read it in a day and a half. And now I'm pretty sure I'm going to take 10 years off my life in anticipation of Shadowfever, the last book in the series!

If you haven't read Karen Marie Moning's Fever series yet, you are missing out! However, save yourself some heartache and partial insanity and wait until the last book comes out next year before reading them, because her endings are vicious! No joke, I dream about these books for weeks after finishing one :-/

I read Patricia Briggs "Hunting Ground" amazon managed to solve the problem to deliver new american releases on the release date to europe. Last year I had to wait weeks for these new books! I hope it goes on like this because next week "must love hellhounds" is released.
However, I simply loved hunting ground! Never read mercy thompson but the alpha and omega series is fantastic! Anna and Charles are adorable. I immediately went to briggs website to see when the next one comes out...next year AUGUST!!! That´s just mean!
To get over my shock I now re-read the other two books.

Just read "Never Love a Lawman" by Jo Gooodman. It's so utterly fantastic! The hero, Wyatt, is to die for!

Also just finished "Black at Heart" by Leslie Parrish. The book is scary as heck.

Julia, I highly recommend Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series. It's different from Charles and Anna's stories because it's written in the first person, but Mercy is an awesome heroine. She's very real, down-to-earth, a little bit mouthy, but not too much. This is one of my favorite series right up there with the Psy/Changelings and Kate Daniels.

I'm reading the 2nd book in the Black Cat romantic suspense novel series, Pitch Black, by Leslie Parrish. They're good; I really want to read the 3rd novel, Black at Heart. It's out in September.

I can highly recommend the whole series, I love the romance and feelings in there as well as the stories :D

Read Dreamfever last week. This week is Blood Promise by Richelle Mead, but I haven't read it yet. It's my "reward" for cleaning. And it's KILLING me! *headdesk*

Also read Surrender of a Siren. I liked Goddess of the Hunt better, but it was still an enjoyable read. :)

I keep adding books to my TBR pile but have yet to read anything new this week. The teaching year starts for me on Tuesday, so I have been BUSY this past week!

I have to get The Darkest Whisper by Gena, and I know I will devour it in one setting. I can't wait!

I recently read Goddess of the Hunt by Tessa Dare and enjoyed it. Also, I read the re-release of The Cowboy and the Lady by Diana Palmer. Currently, I'm reading Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs and looking forward to reading Surrender of a Siren by Tessa Dare.

Nini... ooohhh!!! Christopher Moore's "Practical Demonkeeping" is one of the funniest books I've ever read. Now, I'm going to have to add "You Suck" to my list!

I was on vacation this week, so I finally read Patricia Brigg's "Alpha & Omega". Thanks, Julia, for verifying that "Hunting Ground" is good, too! It's in my TBR pile so I might have to read it next.

I also read Rachel Vincent's "My Soul to Take" (& "My Soul to Lose"). LOVED this new series! I can't wait for the next one in December.

Oh, and I read Christina Dodd's "Storm of Visions" and it was good, too. Kind of a continuation of her last series but the world takes a bit of a left turn. Nice!

Yay, book club!! I hope I'm not too late!

I read "The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie" and it was fantastic! I have never read a historical romance before but it hooked me! Can't wait to read the next one.

I also have read (these are the notable ones) "Tanner's Scheme" and "Dawn's Awakening" by Lora Leigh - very good. Prior to the past two weeks, I have only read her Breed short stories. Wow!

I also finished "SkyKeepers" by Jessica Andersen. It was good, I continue to enjoy her mythology and I really enjoyed how the ending was an HEA but the characteristics and circumstances of our hero and heroine...solved it differently than the previous two books.

I also have to say that the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs is excellent. Next to Nalini's books, it is one of the few series I buy, it's that good.

I'm late - I'm sorry. Computer problems (again). I read another historical suspense books this week - Resurrectionist (James McGee). It's all about the body snatchers in 19th century London (snatching bodies from graves for the anatomy schools). And Regency London is nothing like what you see in an historical romance :)

And I've just started New Moon....
