Born In Death - JD Robb

It's Eve and Roarke. Need I say more? If JD Robb (for no reason that I can think of except to mess with us) decided to write a story about the two of them sitting around counting lint, I would buy, read and adore that.

These two are just the most amazing characters, and that's not even counting the wonderful supporting cast. I have a soft spot for Trueheart in particular. So really all I'm going to say is if you haven't read the JD Robb books, go now and do it! Start at the start - Naked In Death, for maximum impact.

Okay, fess up. Who's your I-would-read-it-even-if-they-were-counting-lint author/characters?

Lois McMaster Bujold: the Vorkosigan series, but only if Miles is in it!

Sharon Lee & Steve Miller: the Liaden Universe series, but only if Shan and Priscilla, or Val Con and Miri are in it!

And yes, the In Death series too! I've only read the first 4 books so far, but I loooove Eve, Roarke and Summerset!

Oh, and anything by Linnea Sinclair (aka. Megan Sybil Baker)!

Naked in Death is still my favourite in the series. I'm only up to Witness in Death right now. Some say they find the twenty odd books in the series intimidating but for me, it's a blessing to be able to dive into the next book right away.

Oooh, so many good books, where do I start!

Sara - I enjoyed SK's book about the woman on the plane and it's going down so she tells all her secrets to the man next to her and he turns out to be her boss?! Can't remember the title though.

Clare - Vampires & Navy Seals. Yum :)

Estella - it's funny, I always separate out Nora and JD too. I'm a huge fan of JD Robb but only read some of Nora's stuff. I loved Blue Smoke though. Loved it!

Neyjour - I just got the first Lee and Miller book. Can't wait to get into it. And I've got my first Linnea Sinclair!

Jeanne - LOL!!! I adore Julie Garwood's historicals. They're my absolute keepers.

Racy - I don't think I've read her. I'll have pick one up. Wow about the fencing!

Jenny - I find that too. I love finding a new author with a backlist. Instant gratification *g*

Coolies! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did! :D

Did you get Partners In Necessity (Conflict of Honors, Agent of Change, Carpe Diem)? Or did you pick up the prequel, Pilot's Choice (Local Custom, Scout's Progress)?

And which of Linnea's books did you get? All are wonderful (and I'm really looking forward to Games of Command!), but An Accidental Goddess is by far my fave. :)

Julie Garwood & Suzanne Brockmann (Sam & Alyssa...need I say more?)- love some of Nora's stuff but never read JD Robb, guess I'll have to start at the beginning since everyone raves about Roarke...

Ney - I think I have Finders Keepers and the other one might be Crystal Soldier (but don't quote me on that)!

Nina - Roarke is amazing. You have to try him out.

Ag - isn't it great? There seem to be so many awesome books coming out recently.
