Currently reading The Place Promised in Our Early Days by Arata Kanoh and Makoto Shinkai, translated by Taylor Engel. A novelisation of the 2004 alternate history science fiction anime film. So far I find it slow paced but interesting and atmospheric.
My favorite new-to-me read this week was Alissa Johnson's Practically Wicked (Haverston Family #3).
I've mostly reread this week. Some of which was for my complete Psy/Changeling series reread. I am up to Heart of Obsidian (which is another one of my favorites), but taking a break for a bit before I start rereading it.
A Sense of Duty by Sam Crescent. I liked the plot, the writing style and the characters. It's rare that I like both main characters from the start, but Andrei and Adelaide are an exception.
I'm reading Angels' Blood by you. I'm also listening to Sula by Toni Morrison and I'm reading a Wonder Woman comic called, Trial of the Amazons. It's about Wonder Woman and her sister Nubia.
