I was unexpectedly so blown away by THE GIRL FROM GUERNICA: AN EPIC HISTORICAL (ROMANCE) NOVEL BY KAREN ROBARDS ๐Ÿ’– Inspired by Picasso's great masterpiece Guernica ❣️Heart wrenching ~ uplifting ~ wondrously & magically romantic ~ & spanning 9 horrific years of brutal battles and WAR ~ from April 25, 1937 through June 22, 1945 ~

The heroine ~ The Girl from Guernica was Sibi—Sibil Francesca Helinger ~ brilliant ~ courageous ~ and more. In comparison to the other heroines I've read, loved, & admired ~ if they all are precious diamonds ~ Sibi would be the legendary Koh-I-Noor!

The hero ~ James Griffin ~ an Officer in the OSS, the Office of Strategic Services.

Sibi & Griff ~ a perfect partnership!

BTW ~ I'm not ashamed to confess that I don't get ~ don't feel Picasso's paintings. I'm an Impression lover. BUT I'm & will be forever thankful to have been introduced to Guernica ๐Ÿ’–

Storm Echo!! And also enjoying, so far, The Halls of Law by V.M. Escalada. Already looking forward to the sequel A Gift of Griffins, even though I"m maybe only 1/4 of the way into the first one!
