I am getting ready for Patricia Briggs' and Ilona Andrews' new books coming out Tuesday. I just finished skimming over Smoke Bitten by Patricia Briggs. I also skimmed Emerald Blaze by Ilona Andrews.
Been listening to music more than reading right now. :)
Stumbled across a wonderful children's book (while looking for a different one) at my library the other day, called "I Feel... Different" by DJ Corchin. It is a great picture book discussing how hard it can be to feel (or be) different from everyone else, and how it's nonetheless actually a good thing to be different. I think my favourite part though, is at the end, where it even has some short 'workbook' type activities at the end, to help readers explore how the people around them have differences too that make them interesting people. (which can then be turned into a booklet once can have for reassurance whenever necessary).

Loved Leslye Penelope's The Monster We Defy, a stand-alone 1029s fantasy heist. Highly recommend.
Finished rereading Jayne Castle's Rainshadow series.
Also enjoyed Veronica Scott's Reede's Mission to the Sectors (Sectors New Allies #15) and Kit Rocha's Dance with the Devil (Mercenary Librarians #3)
Finally read Nora Roberts' Year One (Chronicles of the One #1). Currently on book two in the trilogy.

Just finished listening to Storm Echo - excellent addition to the series. A visit with some old friends, but setting up more intrigue. Thank you.
