I like the autumn because of the cooler but not yet cold temperatures. I was also the odd kid who looked forward to going back to school. Plus in the "olden" days it meant the start of new TV seasons. And while TV shows debut year round now and it's been many years since I was in school, I still associate those feeling with the autumn. And I like the changing trees and foliage.
I've lived in numerous places where we didn't have distinct seasons. So I missed a lot of autumns and springs. Nowadays neither season seems to last as long as they did with changing weather patterns.
My favorite season is definitely spring. I always get so tired and melancholic during the winter months and when the cherry blossoms finally bloom and the days grow longer I feel so mich lighter at heart again!

Spring is my favourite. A very narrow slice where the grass is greening, the tulips and monkshood are pushing up in my flowerbeds, and most importantly, the snow mold is gone and the mosquitos aren't out yet.
My favourite season is the dry season because you are guaranteed sunny days. I hate getting wet so having lots of rainy days is a bad time for me. The nights are also warmer so I don't have to shiver myself to sleep.
I'm going to be the odd one out and say winter - except when we lived in the Northeastern US (hate driving in snow and ice). But I've spent most of my life in the Southeastern US and love the chilly weather and snuggling under blankets and the lack of pollen.
I've always preferred cooler weather and hate the heat. I'd have to say autumn because of the cooler crisp temps and the brilliant colors of the leaves...plus summer is very far away!!
I would say spring normally, that summer breeze with jasmine, not cold, not hot, but where I live is semi-tropical so spring only lasts for about two weeks when he goes from a bit cool to getting too hot again. So I'll say autumn, right now, where it is cooler with some absolutely beautiful days, sunny but cool. My mood is influenced by weather, so I feel not so happy on overcast or rainy days. I love sunny days about 25C.
I love all seasons ! I believe all seasons are made to be lazy. Summer with a cool drink next to you and a book. Rainy seasons for tea and snacks and a book !! Winter to be cozy in a blanket with a drink and a book !! Ha ha ha .... Spring to sit under a tree with a book !!!
I'm also an odd one out. For me it is Winter and snow. I live in the Plains states and we do get quite a bit of snow and ice some years. I love sitting indoors reading with the snowy world outside. But, this is at least partially because my allergies are better. I love it even more now that I'm not working and can just stay home and read when the roads are less that perfect. I also enjoy watching birds come to the feeder, although I still get them during summer, just not the same ones.
My fave season has to be autumn; there's just something about the crunch of the leaves and orange colours in the trees that then gives way to festive winter!

Yep, definitely Spring. Everything is new and fresh. And Autumn when it's not waterlogged! The briskness and the colours are cosy.

I love the wildflowers of spring.
