I didn't have much reading time this week. Bummed that the few books I did manage were duds I won't mention.

Currently I'm reading an old Amalia James (aka Carla Neggers), Tangled Promises, which I am enjoying. It was published in 1982 and the heroine consulted her complete set of Encyclopedia Britannica for information before flying to Scotland - lol. I'm old enough to remember pre-internet days, so I found it oddly sweet. But it's amazing to think about how much the world has changed.

I'm following a recommendation by Illona Andrews: Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox. Enjoying it quite a bit, I have to say. Definitely worth picking up.

I enjoyed 'Hot and Badgered' by shelly Laurenston' Saw it at the library and tried it. The review on the cover mentions 'offbeat humor and mayhem' and I can't argue with that. I will probably try another of hers soon.

Just finished reading the weekly chapter of Sweep of the Blade by Ilona Andrews on their website. I also read Ilona's recommended book Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox. I liked it.

I am re-reading the entire Rock Kiss series. I finished Rock Addiction. Now, I'm reading Rock Courtship. Then it's off to Charlie and T-Rex. :) Speaking of Charlie and T-Rex, when are we going to read about their wedding?

I have discovered Ashley Gardner/Jennifer Ashley's wonderful series "Captain Lacey Regency Mysteries" ❣️ Read and finished 13 novels plus 4 novellas in a week! Once I started, I couldn't stop! Unbelievably umm. . . my friend used the word "compelling" ❣️ and she's so right on! I didn't even know an anti-hero was for me!
