I was on a Sports NA kick last week. I read The Mistake by Elle Kennedy; The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan and Pucked by Helena Hunting. Currently reading The Grace of Kings by Ken Liu - really good so far. Happy Friday, everyone!
I've just re-read Anne Bishop's Written In Red, and Murder of Crows, and started on Vision In Silver (the 3rd book in The Others series). Loved the first two books, and just want to lock myself away and read the third one from cover to cover with no interruptions. Maybe if I hint that's what I'd like for Mother's Day this coming Sunday???
I read Midnight's Kisses by Thea Harrison. I like it. However, there is one thing to note: if you haven't read Xavier's story, Night's Honor, the first part of Julian's story may not make sense. There is also a short blurb about Graydon's story that is coming next. :)
Also rereading Vengeance of the Demon by Diana Rowland because even if it wasn't the greatest in the series, so much happened that I can't NOT reread it. The last two books for Kara's story can't get written soon enough! I want to get answers to all the insanity...
Just finished Jessica Shirvinton Empower.. It is amazing ending to a perfect series. Although it is YA series, I read it in one sitting! Nap then reading The Shadows J.R. Ward.. :-) Mixed reviews on this one..
A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. Had it on my shelf for a long time now I am wondering why I waited. Just want to add some theme song ideas - Demons by Imagine Dragons for Hawke and Sienna and I might be showing my age but I was surprised no one mentioned Hungry Like the Wolf by Duran Duran for all those dominant Snow Dancers especially when Riley is stalking Mercy!!
I read two new books that I've been waiting for for ages - Midnight's Kiss by Thea Harrison and The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan. Both were amazing!
Re-reading The Riddlemaster of Hed by Patricia A. McKillip. Classic epic quest fantasy. The complete trilogy is Riddlemaster of Hed, Heir of Sea & Fire, and Harpist in the Wind. The prose begs to listened to in audio. Too bad the 2nd book narrator (POV change, so the reader changed to a woman) is a detraction, rather than an addition, to the story. Love her fantasy books :-)

It's Midnight's Kiss, not Kisses. It's early Friday for me...not thinking right.

I also LOVED Midnight's Kiss ♡
What a gorgeous story! Julian was defo a General. Didn't think I'd like Melisande much at all but she blew me away!
Already preordered Graydon's Shadow's End ♡
Reread Aden's chapter 1 everyday too ♡
Cat's Lair by Christine Feehan. Good read so far.
I finished my complete Psy/Changeling series reread. Counting down the days until Shards of Hope, 25 to go.... *sob*
I read Julie Miller's Bad Girl. Loved the heroine but had multiple issues with the plot.
Just started Jaci Burton's Hope Burns.
I read two new books that I've been waiting for for ages - Midnight's Kiss by Thea Harrison and The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan. Both were amazing!
