Sunday Interview & Website

I was recently interviewed for the Sunday programme here in New Zealand, and the piece went to air today. You can watch it online at this link (available internationally). Some parts of it were shot at signings in NY and NZ, so you might spot yourself!

Also, the website has been updated, complete with excerpts for Angel's Wolf and Tangle of Need. Enjoy!

YAY gonna run to read the excerpts for Angel's Wolf ;)

A question Nalini: are you going to post any deleted scene from Kiss of Snow?

I've learned a lot about you from the Interview.
Thnx so much, Nalini, for linking it for us.
If that's really your WRITING OFFICE, it's a huge SURPRISE for me. I didn't expect a PSY-LIKE OFFICE!! of the year 2080!!
I was actually expecting more of a luscious sanctuary of a Changeling!!!
*BIG GRINS*

Love your bookshelf!! With all of your BOOKS lining up.

One more surprise is that you could've been a corporate lawyer!! But you didn't give it a try.
Our LUCK!! If you'd been an attorney & loved it...
then.. NOPE.. can't even imagine life without the PSY-CHANGELINGS & the GUILD HUNTERS!!

Thnx to your determination & your dad's gift of your computer. So thankful that you've kept writing!!

The excerpt of ANGEL'S WOLF has so captured my heart. I'm not a fan of an anthology. But I have a feeling that I won't be able to hold off until March 29, 2012 for ANGEL'S FLIGHT. I must have NOEL & NIMRA in my hands in October!!

Enjoyed the excerpts! Am wondering though, is Adria the unavailable woman Riaz mentioned in Play of Passion?

@brendabeeg - can't be his potential mate because he said she was married to a great guy... and Martin was not that.

Nalini - great interview, although the interviewer was weird trying to make the books sound like the bodice rippers of old!

Loved the interview! You are really big, especially in Germany, yet NZ has some catching up to do. Some people don't know what they're are missing. Your attention to detail, the consistency in the world-building, and your three-dimensional characters made exciting and sensual romances.

Your mom will be the envy of every fan now the we know she gets to read your unpublished manuscripts. How lucky! By the way, what an impressive bookshelf you have!

Thanks for the excerpts! I've alread read and enjoyed Tangle of Needs in Dimitri's book. Loved the angel/vampire pairing in Angel's Wolf. It's a first and I can't wait to read the novella.

Read the excerpt for Angel's Wolf and I'm intrigued by Nimra. Sounds great so far.

Tangle of Need, on the other hand... I dunno, something about that excerpt strikes me as weird. The attraction feels one-sided. I thought Riaz knew she was his mate? And the comment he makes (“Someone should bite you,” Riaz muttered. “Pull that stick out of your ass at the same time.”) drudges up bad memories of catcalls addressed to an ice queen who "needed to get laid." I might have to sit this one out.

Great interview - one of your best. You looked incredibly pretty in this interview - reminded me of a lot of your heroines. In fact you describe quite a number of them with your skin tone. Is that a conscious thing you do?

Just watched the interview and I loved it. It was great to see your family. I thought it was very sweet how supportive your parents, friends and fans are. That interviewer did annoy me a bit though, he didnt quite seem to grasp the complexity of your books and that was highlighted by the excerpt he chose to read out. I was cringing watching that bit ( for him though, not you.He embarassed himself). Overall though, it was very interesting to watch and your friends were hilarious!

Just saw the interview, can't believe your fellow New Zealanders haven't discovered you. I agree with several other comments, you came across as very together, the interviewer should have perhaps read more of your books before trying to comment on them. The excerpt he choose, as you said was taken so far out of context, that the only thing he accomplished was to show his lack as an interviewer.
Please keep up the good work,as I'm sure many fans have told you this, please, please write faster. Wishful thinking aside, I will be patient and take each story/novel as they come.
I did just want to comment to Lia - that I believe she has some of her facts mixed up. Riaz's mate was someone he met while he was in Europe, he told Indigo about her when he returned to the den, so Adria is not the women he was talking about then. She could perhaps reread "Play of Passion" for the story on Adria and Martin, Riaz and the women who could have been his mate had she been free. I am looking forward to getting to know Adria better, and understanding her relationship with Martin, how it started and how/why it ended. I think this will be a story of two committed people who are not mated, but I could be wrong - will have to wait until 2012 to get my answers.
