Lord of the Abyss & Friday Book Club

If you're a reviewer, blogger, librarian or in the media, you can now ask for a review copy of Lord of the Abyss from NetGalley.

If you don't fall into any of those categories, never fear. I'll attempt to get my hands on some early copies to give away on the blog. I'll also get an excerpt up soon, so you can have a sneak peak at Micah and Liliana.

This book will release in two editions. One will be Lord of the Abyss by itself, while the second edition will be Lord of the Abyss plus Desert Warrior, my first ever published book.

I'll let you know once the excerpt is up!

Onto the book club - what are you reading and loving this week?

I just finished Archangel's Blade (Loved it. Is there any chance we might get an Ashwini/Janvier book? I love those two) and will start soon with River Marked by Patricia Briggs.
Zero Dog War by Keith Melton was also very funny.

I am reading Heart Change by Robin D. Owens, because I know, if I start on Archangel´s Blade I won´t be able to stop. Unfortunately I have to work. So today after work, I will start to read Archangel´s Blade and than "The Dragon who loved me". After these I will continue with the Heart serie.

I finished Archangel's Blade which I inhaled in one sitting, awesome. Tess Gerritsen first three in the Jane Rizzoli/Maura Isles series The Surgeon, The Apprentice, and The Sinner. I read a YA The Shifter by Janice Hardy the first in the Healing Wars series. Read another YA Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta which was very good. I went on a reading spree, lol.

Iknew there was a book I was forgetting about I need to pick up The Dragon who Loved Me.

I just finished Archanangels Blade a few minutes ago and i loved it. I second a Ashwini/Janvier book! I'd also love some Illium romance too.
I'm not sure what to start as my next book but right now i'm rereading (and almost finished) Mercedes Lackey's Take a Thief and thinking of unearthing A Taste Of Crimson from my book pile. Vampire romance is awesome.
*shakes fist* Damn my ereader for breaking as i have a bunch of ebooks that i'd really love to read but will now take me twice as long to finish.

How often can I hit the [F5] key without looking like a maniac? (It's almost as bad as when I wanted to register into Pottermore XD)

Aaaand I've just finished Any Man of Mine by Rachel Gibson. Probably going to read something else written by her, too. :)

I have already finished Archangels Blade and of course I loved it. The dynamic between Dimtri & Honor wsa fantistic. Also the interaction with Raphael shows how deep their relationship is and gives a preview of how the couples in the book will grow. We don't know what the next full book will be about but I for one can't wait to read about Aodhan's arrivial.

Finished with Archangel's Blade! I read that book like I was possessed... LOVED IT! Seeing Dimtri struggle with Honor (& the past.. hehe) and seeing the friendship between Raphael & Dimtri in action had me squeeling like a fan-girl.. *sigh* I'm soo glad there's more Guild Hunter novels coming out! any chance of getting a hint on which couple will star in the next full length novel? ;-D

--> continuing on in the same vein of big, bad, & smexxy alpha heros.. mmm... I also just finished reading Tempted by Elisabeth Naughton... great addition to her Eternal Guardians series! Demetrius is definitely up there with Dimtri in the dark, dangerous, & addictive heros... you'll definitely love reading the interplay between him and his soul mate!

I recently read the dark urban fantasy, Angelfall, by Susan Ee. She's a debut author and her book BLEW ME AWAY!!! It haunts me. I highly recommend it. Heard about it from my GR friends. It's always exciting reading new talent and anticipating future books. ;o)

Also read Archangel's Blade. Loved the interaction between Raphael's Seven, the progress update on a character from book one, and seeing Dmitri get his HEA. I'll be keeping an eye on Aodhan. As another poster above said, I can't wait til he comes to town. And, yay, on Janvier!!! Also loved Ashwini as Honor's best friend. I can only imagine what Elena feels about the changes in the Tower. LOL

Currently reading The Dragon Who Loved Me. G.A. Aiken has a wonderful humor. She can really write sexy times between her hero and heroine. *fans self*

@Kathy...Angelfall was so unbelievably fantastic! I can't stop gushing about it and feel compelled to get the word out to everyone. It's so easy to support an Indie-published author when they write such beautiful work. Yay!

Finished The Dragon Who Loved Me by G.A. Aiken. Enjoyed. Oh Eibhear! *sigh*

Reading - Dead, Undead, or Somewhere In Between by J.A. Saare
