I just devoured Ryk E. Spoor's Grand Central Arena, which is space opera and great fun. Reread Eric Flint and Ryk Spoor's Boundary, and am currently happily reading the sequel, Threshold. Both books have romantic relationships among some of the characters, which is fun. They are also great science-fiction stories. Next up is Loretta Chase's new book!!
Let's see this week i read Water Bound by Christine Feehan! Awesome 1st book in her new Sisters of the Heart series. I also read Lora leighs piece in Men of Danger anthology and now I'm in the middle of reading Lover Mine by JR Ward right now as well.
I'm beginning Kelly Meding's second book in her Dreg series, "As Lie the Dead." Earlier this week I finished reading "Burning Up."
I just started Veil of Night by Linda Howard.
Happy travels Nalini!
I finished Stalking Darkness (Lynn Flewelling) at the beginning of the week and have been slowly working my way through The Curse of the Mistwraith (Janny Wurts). I hope to finish that, the turn my attention to a yaoi manga novel and then probably Maria V Snyder's Sea Glass!
Reading Patricia Briggs's "Moon Called" and loving it.
I am reading "Stolen" - Kelley Armstrong.....LOVING IT!!!
I've read "Private Demon - A Novel of the Darkyn" from Lynn Viehl. Great book!!
Just finished reading Tessa Dare's 'Twice Tempted By A Rogue'. It was ok. Now I'm on to Christie Craig's 'Shut Up & Kiss Me'. Can't wait to read it! Hilarity will ensue!
I finished "Der Kuss des Kjer" by Lynn Raven. Sadly it`s only available in German. It`s really good! Mordan is a suffering hero like JR Ward`s Zsadist. But the story is different (high fantasy romance); no vampire:-).
I finally got the Burning Up antho and I was so excited to see that Whisper of Sin was the very first novella. I devoured it and loved it madly. Ria was totally awesome--snarky and strong and just so great as a heroine. And her family! I especially loved her grandmother. Emmett was likewise wonderful, and it was so nice to see familiar characters in familiar roles while DarkRiver was still "growing up."
Finished Elizabeth Jenning's "Shadows at Midnight" yesterday and just started Maya Rondale's "A Groom of One's Own".
Finished "Cast in Chaos" by Michelle Sagara today at 2 a.m. I really like the way she writes stories, and I liked this one better than the last one in this series.
I have been reading and thoroughly enjoying some Lynne Connolly books this week. Have finished Lynne's Richard and Rose series and am now working my way through her Triple Countess series.
I have also read and enjoyed Christine Feehan's Water Bound.
I just finished the Nell Sweeney books by P.B. Ryan. It is mysteries with romantic interest set in the 1860s Boston. I would recommend highly.
Regards, Ruth (CO)
I'm catching up on sookie stackhouse series. I'm reading Dead and gone right now.
