I just finished reading STORMWALKER by Allyson James. I was really intrigued by the characters, whose development was well unfurled throughout the story, even those in a secondary roll. The plot was well paced, although its ending was an interesting mix of predictability and surprise twist. Definitely recommend - the sequel, FIREWALKER, could not come too soon!
Erin McCarthy's Fast Track Series! oh.my.god!! It's great! So far I've finished the first one. Reading the second one now. I can't wait for Ryder's story! I want it right now! Good thing August is not too far away LOL
I finished BEAST BEHAVING BADLY by Shelly Laurenston at midnight last night. Did it matter that I had to be up in 4-1/2 hours? No! It was wonderful and I gladly lost my precious sleep for it. If you haven't read any of her books, I highly recommend them if you like shifters and humor.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo & now The Girl Who Played With Fire. I place full blame for my total lack of everything this week on these books. And I'm going to blame The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest for why I'm not going to get anything accomplished this weekend.
I just started Celeste Bradley, whom I have never read before, her 'Desperately Seeking a Duke', the first in one of her series, yesterday, and am loving every minute of it! Great wit and characterizations!
Just finished "Beyond the Night" by Joss Ware aka Colleen Gleason. It's set in a post-apocalyptic world where Las Vegas is now the new west coast. Very cool and interesting. I was surprised how much I liked it. I just got the 2nd from the library today.
I'm reading Suddenly You by Lisa Kleypas. Its the only book I've started this month, and I'm enjoying it so much but things have been BUSY! Ugh. I hate when life gets in the way with reading ;-)
I read The Darkest Passion when it first came out (I haven't been here the last 2 weeks). It was OK. Not my favorite, I don't know how to describe why, but Olivia wasn't my favorite. Aeron was the sole reason I love the book. (Well, the other lords & william, too ;)
Not a lot of time for reading this past week, so I am going to reread Clay and Tally's story (my personal fave). I am going to get JR Ward's latest this week from the library (finally)
Just finished Changeless by Gail Carriger. I loved it, but the ending- ARGH! talk about a cliffhanger I can't believe I have to wait until September for the next book!!!!!Also read Bullet by Laurell K. Hamilton, great as all her books are, twill be interesting to see where the story goes next....now I have to get something new to read...
Reading The Darkest Passion. I agree with someone upthread that Olivia is not that substantial or like-able. Love Aeron. Can't wait for William's story.
Next up is the Running Scared by Shannon Butcher or Lisa Kleypas's Married by morning. Still punting.
I've started rereading CS Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia books. I read them when I was in middle school, then again in college, and I got the hankering to read them again because I heard thay they are making/have made a movie version of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, my favorite of the seven Narnia books. I can't wait to see that movie!
Another reason for rereading them is that I'm killing time until July sixth when a book I've been lusting after for months by one of my favorite is being released. Gee, I wonder what book it is? ;)
:) - Me, too, Courtney. Just trying to finish up anything or reread oldies until July 6th. I can't pull out the other Psy/Change because I lent the whole series to a friend. Conversion underway.
I just finished Into the Dark ~ Gena Showalter. Heaps of extra stuff about the Lords of the Underworld. Now I am going to start the latest Lords book. Seems to be some mixed reviews about this one.
Apologies for posting late. I finished reading Magic Bleeds (Ilona Andrews) on Saturday - it was very good - and am currently reading On The Edge by the same author. It's also good.
I'm madly checking the library catalogue for Melissa Marr's Fragile Eternity, which I hope to read next :)

Would love to read this series but they aren't available for me to purchase as eBooks from New Zealand.
This week I read and enjoyed Criminal Instinct by Kelly Lynn Parra - bought from new publisher Carina Press.
I also read and enjoyed Accidentally Were? and Witch Vamp Were? by Anne Douglas.
