Space Weddings!

"A Japanese firm is accepting reservations for couples who want to exchange their wedding vows in space."

~ NZ Herald
I'm fascinated. Imagine your wedding pictures! Everything floating around in zero gravity!

The mind boggles :) Actually *scratches head* aren't there aeroplanes that can let you experience weightlessness at some point in the flight?

Yes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weightlessness)

Hold on, what about just going to NASA - don't they have a zero-gravity device (they so must have one)...*races off to look*

Erm... personally? There are things that I'd rather weren't floating around me...

Okay...that'd just be weird. :0

Hey, Nalini, this is totally off-topic, but I have a question for you. Being that you live in New Zealand, how do you pronounce Maori? I got into a "discussion" (i.e. big argument over this) and I would love to know.

Is it Mowree or May or ee? Or is it something totally different? Inquiring minds are dying to know. Thank you! :D

Bridget, a Maori friend in school taught me to say it with the same pronounciation as the "Mo" in Moldy. It's a very round sound if that makes sense.

Nalini-Thanks for the pronunciation thing. Since I don't live anywhere near NZ, it's just one of those words you make your own judgement on, if that makes sense. :)

Hope you have a great weekend! I've got a 4-day weekend! Yay! *happy dance*

Oh no. I can't even fly on an airplane without getting sick.

Eh. Weddings are overrated. Space. Heh. I'd rather put that money on a downpayment for a house. Or travel.
