Not much going on. I've been reading a ton of books, but really being lazy otherwise. I'm good at that. :D

Nothing much here. I am going to try (yup there's that word) to start exercising (again). Keep telling myself that I need to, but then I pick up another book to read. Just finished Elizabeth Vaughan's Warprize trilogy. It was really good. I look forward to her next book.

Not much going on here either. Have been to Kerikeri to visit my dad, done a heap of reading and plan to spend time in the garden tomorrow!

I went to an afternoon tea today at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago with a couple of friends. They had a display of hats by local milliners and we had fun trying on the hats. Too expensive for us but wonderful hats... Sigh. Tomorrow I go to a cooking class for hor d'oeuvres. It should be fun. Right now I'm trying to get my reading for class out of the way and to draft an article..... Bookwise, I just finished The Black Dragon by Allyson James and Atlantis Awakening by Alyssa Day. I recommend both books. I'm in the middle of True Deception by Patricia Waddell, a futuristic romance. More science-fiction than romance but fun.

I'm off to an art materials show today. So will probably be spending lots of money on cool art supplies.
