My favorite new-to-me story this week was Veronica Scott's Star Cruise: Captain's Prologue (Sectors #18.9). This is the start of the long-awaited story of Fleming and Maeve; it tells the background of their relationship before the start of the Star Cruise series within her Sectors series. It ends with a To Be Continued but in no way a cliffhanger. You just have to mentally slot in all the books and novellas featuring the crew of the Nebula Zephyr in between. The rest of their story will be out later this month.
I also continued my massive Amanda Quick reread with Surrender, Scandal, Rendezvous, Reckless, Dangerous, Deception, and Desire.
Currently reading Piper J Drake's Fangs So Bright and Deadly (Mythwoven #2).
