My favorite new-to-me book this week was Lindsay Buroker's Fused (Legacy of Magic #6).

I also read Chelsea M Cameron's The Girl Next Door.

Currently rereading L Penelope's Savage City (Bliss Wars #1) in anticpation of book 2's release next week (Beastly Kingdom).

Also I am up to Allegiance of Honor in my complete Psy/Changeling series reread.

I've been reading a book that I picked up a long time ago as a library discard that has been sitting on my shelf languishing ever since. It turns out I'm really loving it! AND it's part of a series!!! (Though one that's going to be hard for me to find more of unless Libby ends up getting them after all, or I wind up spending paperback money on them on kindle - which is probably only going to happen if they come on sale.) The book is called Recovery Man by Kristine Kathryn Rusch. It seems to be about midway through the series. It's part of her Retrieval Artist series. It's a combination of sci-fi and "hard boiled detective story" (so says the blurb on the back).

It reminds me a lot - in some ways - of C.S. Friedman's This Alien Shore! Which is one of my all time favourite books! This one's not quite as cool as that one (so far), but it's still very cool.

Kresley Cole's From the Grave

It was one of those rabbit hole things. I was rereading Whisper of Sin in the Burning Up anthology (which already introduced me to Meljean Brooks who I love), and I decided to read another Virginia Kantra story. I got the Tied with a Bow anthology (the Virginia Kantra story is good and I will follow up on her later), but boom, there is a late-in-a-series novella by Eileen Wilks which is just fabulous! I bought the first book from this series, called Tempting Danger and am loving it. It looks like the last book has been due for a few years, so that may annoy me in a month or so, but right now I’m in that excited, I have a new promising author/series mode!
