Mostly rereads for me this week.
I also finally read the entire Capturing the Crown mini-series from back when the Silhouette Intimate Moments line still existed. My favorites were Marie Ferrarella's The Heart of a Ruler (#1) and Nina Bruhns Royal Betrayal (#4). Trying to read at least some of the books that have been in my virtual TBR mountain for over a decade this year.
I am rereading Rock Hard. I'm to the Bad, Bad, Bad Words chapter. Makes me laugh every time I read the chapter. Do not make Charle-mouse really mad since she knows all the words.
I might to a quick reread of some the Kate Daniels books this weekend since Magic Tides by Ilona Andrews is coming out Tuesday. All I am going to say is low profile? Kate? Curran? Yeah, right. Long live the Keep part 2. :D
I've discovered a new favorite author ~ Susanna Kearsley ๐ Such a gifted & talented story teller. Her books has various elements I love to lose myself into: interesting locations ~ romance ~ mystery ~ mesmerizing historical background ~ time slip/time travel/paralleled worlds ~ some psychics ~ etc. So I've been busy reading and loving every single book written by her that I could acquire.
Finally ~ finished the final one ~ Bellewether ๐ Wishing the author will write and/or publish more books in 2023!
Nothing specific that I'm loving right now, but reading @library addict's comment about their TBR pile reminded me that I should mention that I'm actually tackling a number of the books I own, for a change, rather than just library books!! In fact, today I think I'm going to return a bunch of books (primarily nonfiction) to the library that I'm not going to get to, as my interests have shifted for now. This way I can focus better on the ones I own that I want to read. (and creating room on my bookshelves for new acquisitions!)
