I did mostly rereading this week.
My favorite new-to-me read was Jessie Mihalik's Eclipse the Moon (Starlight's Shadow #2). I was lucky to win a print ARC from Harper Voyager. The book is set to be released July 12th.
I also read the first two books in Veronica Scott's new Sectors spin-off. Kyden (Badari Gladiators #1) and Rennyr (Badari Gladiators #2).
Bright Like Wildfire by Juliette Cross https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4807594105?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1
and
Playing for Keeps by Jax Calder (Also an New Zealand Author). https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/4815983300?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1
I am reading and loving homicide and halo-halo, the second in a culinary mystery series set in the filipino-american community. I love it! Highly recommend.
I also finished the re-read of wolf rain. It's second only to my love of Shards of Hope, but that's because Aden is my favorite character. I have a weakness for smart, strong, powerful men who are the right kind of leaders the world needs, and who don't feel the desire to prove their power unless it's absolutely necessary.
