I had a good reading week.
Read Lindsay Buroker's Blood Charged (Dragon Blood #3), Patterns in the Dark (Dragon Blood #4), The Blade's Memory (Dragon Blood #5), Under the Ice Blades (Dragon Blood #5.5), Raptor (Dragon Blood #6), and Soulblade (Dragon Blood #6).
The first group of books alternated between two couples (books 1,3,5 are told from Sardelle & Ridge's POVs, books 2 and 4 from Cas & Tolemek's POVs), then books 5 and 6 are from all four. So that was neat.
My favorite so far was Raptor. I also loved the Under the Ice Blades novella as it features my favorite secondary character, Kaika, as the lead.
There are a few short stories and a one-off book about one of the antagonists next. It should be interesting to get scenes from his POV. Then a five book spin-off series I may wait a bit to read as the new JAK will be out on Tuesday.
Working on Annette Marie's The Long-Forgotten Winter King. Though I'm only 25% in, I know it'll be great, as all her other Guild Codex books have been. I've been in a reading slump lately so it's good to come out of it with such a great book to read. Thankfully I have more books I've been looking forward to coming out later this month, too.
Finally ~ I've discovered Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan. Finished Book 1 to 4 and almost done (68% now) with Book 5 ~ the conclusion ~ The Last Olympian.
I got interested in the series after randomly watching the movie adaptation of Book 2 ~ The Sea of Monsters & Percy Jackson on HBO. Surprisingly ~ reading is equally as entertaining as watching the movie! Equally Super Fun! Certain Artistic license didn't bother me at all.
What I love the most is the fact that the series is lovingly written for the author's son ~ with dyslexia ~ with ADHD ~ 💖

I read Bibliophile and the Beast by Ellis Leigh (Her shifter cat nip scene is hilarious) and Forged in Fire (The Vessel Trilogy #1) by Juliette Cross.
I just read the weekly post of Sweep of the Heart on Ilona Andrews' website. The comments are just as hilarious.
