I had a very productive reading week. My favorites were a few novellas: Shannon Stacey's Feels Like Christmas (Kowalski Family #10.5) and Nicole Helm's How to Love Him (Jasper Creek #2.4).

I also enjoyed Christie Ridgeway's Light My Fire (Rock Royalty #1). I didn't have much interest in reading all the rest of the series, but I did read the final book, Love Me Two Times (Rock Royalty #8), to get the answer to the past mystery left dangling at the end of book one.

I finally read Nora Roberts' Untamed. One of my goals for 2022 is to finish the 16 remaining backlist books of hers that I have yet to read (a mix of her old category books as well as The Circle and Chronicles of the One trilogies). Then I will have read ALL of her books.

I also liked Julie Miller's Dead Man District (The Taylor Clan #10/Firehouse 13) and A Stranger on Her Doorstep as well as Abigail's Owen's The Traitor (Fire’s Edge #5) though I was upset about one of the plot developments (won't say due to spoilers) and somewhat bummed others on the team will not get books since this was the last in the series (There is one more book to go in the companion/crossover series which comes out next week).

Finally, I also started Lindsay Buroker's A Witch in Wolf Wood series. Mind Over Magic (A Witch in Wolf Wood #1) was paced somewhat unevenly for me, so I enjoyed Spell Hound (A Witch in Wolf Wood #2) more. I am currently reading Any Witch Way (A Witch in Wolf Wood #3). Enjoying the setting and characters overall so glad the series will continue next year.

As I said, a good reading week :)

I read Waking the Dragon by Juliette Cross and Ben Fortune: A Shifter Love Story. I loved both stories. Ben Fortune is a M/M Romance. If you want to give him a chance, I would suggest to read Mave Fortune (his sister) first. I think Elizabeth Dear has a special deal for this book at present.

Waiting somewhat patiently for Archangel's Light coming out on Tuesday. Yay!

While I'm waiting, I'm re-reading Wildfire by Ilona Andrews. Been reading the Ilona Andrews blog a lot lately to find out the latest information about when books are being published and just every day life. The new book coming out around Thanksgiving is about the Kinsmen Universe. Can't wait to read that book.

Started on the Desert Cursed series by Shannon Mayer earlier this week and currently working on the third book, Jinn’s Dominion. Really enjoying it. And, like probably all of you, I'm looking forward to Archangel's Light next week.

Murder in the Royal Botanic Gardens by Andrea Penrose. Loved this one the best in the series (to date.) Now my "currently reading shelf" is all clear (except for a year round rereading of "The Incomparable Sebastian St Cyr Mystery series") for the download of Archangel's Light around midnight tonight💝 Yay 💞
