Really enjoyed Lindsay Buroker's Art of the Hunt (Dragon Gate #2). This series is more epic fantasy, but there is the start of two, maybe three romances in book one and another possible romance in this book. The author has promised some romance in the series (she usually includes some romance in her books, but most often they are slooooow burn - LOL).
I also liked Meljean Brook's Blind Spot (The Guardians #5.5). It's in the Must Love Hellhounds anthology with Nalini's Angels’ Judgment. I hadn't read it prior to this as I always knew I'd want to read this series eventually and wanted to read in order. Just started the sixth full-length book in the series, Demon Blood.
