Just finished Adam Kay's "This is going to hurt: secret diaries of a junior doctor" Non-fiction. An easy, funny and ultimately scary read about being an OBY/GYN in the UK. Now listening to Andrea Penrose's first Wexford & Sloane mystery "Murder on Black Swan Lane." I have Eoin Colfer's "Highfire" cued up to read next.

My favorite book read was Nicole Helm's Backcountry Escape (Badlands Cops #3). Just started Helm's Close Range Christmas (Badlands Cops #6).

Loved Loraine Heath's 💝 Beauty Tempts the Beast so much. Super amazing HEA couple!

So blown away by Marie Lu's Skyhunter 💥I've turned into a YA lover! This meant a cliffhanger is expected and considered pretty normal💞I have to confess that I'm so in awe of the cliffhanger in this book!

A little disappointed by the first 6 chapters of Laura Thalassa's Famine, so I'm pausing and will return to it in a better mood.

Loving L.J. Ross's Bedlam. Dr Alexander Gregory's Thriller Series. The Hero so flawed yet totally captivating. No romance for him in the first two books, just a two-night encounter in Paris. Hoping he might finally find someone special by the end of "Bedlam" 🌠 Or in Book#4 in 2021.

Already devoured Damned Souls and a Sangria by Annette Marie, the last/eighth book in the Guild Codex: Spellbound series. It was sooo good. But now I'm even more excited for the final/fourth book of the sister series, Delivering Evil for Experts that's coming out in only another two weeks! So sad both of these series are over, but she's got two other series in the same world just starting off and they are auto-preorders for me.

I've finally discovered C.S. Harris's Sebastian St. Cyr Mysteries 💝 Picked up #1 & #15 first! What Angels Fear & Who Speaks for the Damned❣️ Just to see how I'd feel. Oh, Yes! I've so fallen for the series. Will read all of them . . . in reading order . . . in two weeks . . . or until Halloween!

Finally got around to reading the kindle free samples of "The Power of Different" by Gail Saltz, and "The Power of Disability" by Al Etmanski last night. Picked up the first one from my library today (first time in since they opened for browsing! So awesome, though the self-checkout thing they're insisting we use now was a bit confusing) since both are currently out of stock in my local bookstores. Will probably end up buying both. I do find it interesting that "the Power of Disability" is written by a nondisabled parent, and that the overall word choice is person first, rather than identity first. (though he says if the person he interviewed, or is quoting prefers identity first, he uses that). That someone decided these two choices were important to for it to be most accepted says a lot about what is still wrong with society when it comes to disability.
