Doing lots of cooking, working on library projects from home, and lots of reading and genealogy research. I live with my parents and we are all very careful and home-bound. I work at a rare book library which is classified as a museum for reopening purposes so we haven't yet reopened and will do so very cautiously and in stages. Yours from Chicago, Jenny Schwartzberg
I am spending my usual days. Work, cook, read, sleep, then repeat the next morning. I finished listening to Alpha Night (as my re-read) a few minutes ago as I cooked dinner, and loved it again.
I work at an 'essential retailer' so I have actually been busier than ever. I miss having the time and energy to read and cook. :-( Otherwise staying safe and sane. Hugs from North Carolina Deborah
All good here. Weather has finally cooled down the last couple days after a week of heat and humidity, so I've been able to get out walking again. Supposed to heat up again tomorrow or Thursday though for a few days. Most things are allowed to open as of yesterday, though many haven't yet due to the lack of advance knowledge, so hiring everyone back and all will take time. A few minor spikes COVID recently, but mainly in communal, well, communities. (not specifying here so no one can use it as an excuse for discrimination). (okay, so that part's not "all good", but...) Only about 100 active cases in the province. (were down to only 17 at one point.) I've been very grateful for out low population density throughout this whole thing! (forgotten the numbers, but less than half of the average U.S. numbers)
We've had some unusually sustained high humidity lately, which has been wreaking havoc on me, (and probably others, but I wouldn't know), but you know, you keep going, deal the best you can.
oops. meant "our". Also, wish they'd stop forecasting rain here that never appears!! My rain jacket is heavy to carry, and hot to wear, given it doesn't breathe and doesn't have vents.
It's The great I am grown a tomato plant Westin new releases and can't wait for new Mora new releases to come out for me to read and it's going to be good place libraries are slowly starting to open up here and the is step I know Johnson is and Des Moines I good and I'm thinking about bacon chocolate chip cookies and watching my cat flip out
I'm spending a lot of time coping with personal problems and duties due to changes in my life at the moment. Also a lot of time cleaning house and sorting through junk that needs to go. Have been staying home a lot due to the virus and cooking a lot. Reading is my very needed escape. I loved Alpha Night. Bless you and the other authors that have provided me with needed joy.
I'm like all the book lovers above. Wonderful books keep me positive. Keep my hope up for better days ahead. Our group still discuss/speculate "Alpha Night". That makes me so happy.
I'm currently happily reading and loving two new releases; "Daring and the Duke by Sarah MacLean" and "The Devil of Downtown by Joanna Shupe."
I'm envisioning you happily writing "Quiet in Her Bones" in your writing cave surrounded by unlimited supply of chocolate and tea . . . and that also makes me beyond happy. Please Take care and Stay Safe.
I am doing well. Along with the heat and humidity, I work from home. I start work a little after 5am (CDT). I have read a lot lately, cleaned, and sewed. I also was able to watch New Zealand Super Rugby last very early Sunday morning. I didn't realize it was on until I looked at the channel guide on my cable TV. Hopefully other games will be on.
Been watching the Premier League (English football) and cheering on Liverpool as they won the title thanks to a win by one of the other teams. Yay!
Baking and cleaning mostly. That is when I'm not reading the Psy-Changeling series(I've decided to reread the entire series again...I might have a problem).

I just baked a strawberry cake and now I´m making pancakes with 1/2 plantain flour and 1/2 spelled flour. Hmm ... highly recommended.

Moved a large shelf that had been in the kitchen to the dining room and put a smaller shelf in its place. Trying to organize and sort things.
I'm over the heat and humidity and ready for autumn. Didn't help that my air conditioning broke last week so was without it until Tuesday.
