I think I heard about your books on Susan Elizabeth Phillips board. I thought they might be too sexy for me so didn't jump in straight away. Then I saw a colleague at school reading one and I commented on it. She lent me a couple and the rest is history! Now I always pre-order and at some point will reread via audio as well. Now I always let it be known you live in New Zealand!
I had a friend who'd read the series since the beginning, so I was aware of some of the characters from various discussions. I also remember Jane at Dear Author posted about the series a lot. But it wasn't until the "uproar" about Heart of Obsidian that I clued in.
I read the excerpt Nalini posted on May 22, 2013 and wanted to know more. Normally I am a firm believer in reading series books in order, but Kiss of Snow was the ONLY one my library had available to borrow digitally at 2am after I read the excerpt, so it was the book I read first. I wasn't too lost (though had to check the character index a few times). And while I enjoyed Sienna & Hawke's romance it was Lara & Walker who made the book for me. I then read some of the newsletter shorts available on the website at the time. I was originally going to wait to maybe catch up on the earlier books. But I went to the library and they had Tangle of Need (the only book in the series to be found in print when I went on Monday.) After finishing it....
...What else could I do? I bought ALL of the books! Eek! Very expensive to purchase them all in digital separately, plus the anthologies (thank goodness for the Wild Invitation omnibus!) So I decided I needed to read them all to justify the expense (as if I needed an excuse!) So I read all of the books in order in the remaining 9 days leading up to Heart of Obsidian's release.
I joined the newsletter, eventually caught up on all of the shorts (I somehow missed Clean and Dirty the first time around, so didn't read that until 2014). I have reread individual books when the mood strikes, but also have reread the series in its entirety every year since. Mostly I do so in published order, but I did chronological order once.
TL;DR I glommed the entire series just before Heart of Obsidian was released in 2013.
I was checking out books on Amazon (I think it was Fever series) when your Guild Hunter books appeared in "Also recommended" section. They instantly snagged my interest. I bought and devoured all the books that were available in the series then. I couldn't have enough of your words so I went on to get the entire Psy-Changeling series too. And I've been hooked ever since.
I went to a book store to find something to read and came across your psy/changeling series. Got books 3 and 4 realized my mistake went back got 1 and 2 read from beginning.
I wanted something to read and found the books at Barnes and Noble. I think I started at either Visions of Heat or Caressed by Ice. I remember my mom asking me what I was looking at, and I told her. I got her hooked for a little while.
I picked up a copy of STS at the library. After reading it, I went on Amazon and bought the entire series, as far as Blaze of Memory which had just been released. Then I bought the Guild Hunter books. I can never decide which is my favourite series, I love all of them.
In 2014, I saw Rock Addiction on Netgalley and requested it based on the blurb. I loved it and began looking more into this author I had never read before. After seeing all the positive comments regarding the Psy-Changling series I picked up Slave to Sensation. I gulped down the entire series in about two weeks!
Barnes and Noble bookstore, sometime after Caressed By Ice and I think before Hostage to Pleasure. I'd heard about your stories before then, somewhere. So the reading binge started.
2007. I was going through amazon's romance 4-for-3 promotion and came across slave to sensation. I read the book and feel in love with the series and your writing. (Another author I discovered that day was kresley cole with a hunger like no other.) - odiepr
A few years ago Felicia Day ran a YouTube monthly book group called vaginal fantasy book club. Slave to sensation was one of the early episodes https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=idjOmwvn1as
I knew about the series for years, being a fan of the Guild-Hunter books, but wasn't tempted to start reading them. Then January 2017 I was feeling down and needed something new to read and decided it was time to try out this series. I barely slept from one Thursday to Sunday and read the whole series that was released by that time in 4 days.
Years ago looking through a paranormal recs list I came across Nalini's name. I think there were about 5 Psy books back then and I devoured them all in short order. Since then I read anything Nalini writes, but I enjoy her paranormal books the most.
Omg I made an entrance about this on my blog a couple days ago! I was checking some "romantic" books and the cover of "Hostage To Pleasure" (UK/Spanish) stunned me like a huge neon sign. I wanted to know what was it all about and when I did I NEEDED to know everything... so began with the rest of the books ^^
I started right back at the very beginning when Slave to Sensation came cout. How I found it will mean nothing to most readers, but I suspect will be an obvious answer to Nalini and Ashwini: Barbara Clendon.
I saw your book titled Allegiance of Honour and I was so hooked on the first chapter that I bought all the books in the series and started with slave to sensation and read all of them and then I bought angels blood and got hooked on the archangel series as well.
Hi! I first found Slave to Sensation at the Walmart where I work. I thought oh good! I had read one of her Harlequin Blaze books and knew I was in for a good time. I still have my original copy and I bought the new cover reissue. I have all her books in every series in both paperback and ebook. I am slowly buying the the audio versions as well. Thank You Nalini for creating and writing such wonderful, realistic love stories.
Hi Nalini, I had read all your harlequin books, so when I saw Slave to Sensation (I own the purple cover edition too!) in the bookstore, I was all in. The rest is as you say, history! I love all your books.
Hi Nalini, I first met Sascha and Lucas while living and working in Greenland, where it is dark six months of the year. The Psy-Changeling books brightened up my time there a whole lot. Thank you. Lots of hugs Bettina
I love short stories, and came across Secrets at Midnight in an anthology. It was my fabourite novella out of the collection, and the rest is history. Absolutely love the world building!
I found Slave to Sensation in early 2011. The local Borders was shutting down and they'd slashed prices by something ridiculous like 75% just to get rid of their stock, so I was grabbing anything that looked remotely interesting. I read the blurb on the back, which caught my attention. I cracked it open and read about a chapter before I managed to stop myself. I promptly grabbed all of your books and spent the better part of a week devouring the Psy/Changeling series and I think the start of the Guild series. I hadn't been that hooked on a series since I'd discovered Anne Bishops' Dark Jewels Trilogy! Ever since, you've been an auto-buy on iBooks. And you can still suck me right in with each new book; thank you!
I actually remember finding this series vividly because it left such an impression on me. My family had a tradition every Friday where we went out to eat and then went to Barnes & Noble. On one of those nights in 2007, I was browsing the New Romance section with that month's allowance burning a hole in my pocket. My eye immediately snagged on Visions of Heat which had just come out. I loved PNR and the back cover sounded really interesting, so I bought it along with Dark Protector by Alexis Morgan (another favorite). When I got home and started reading I realized it was part of a series and it wasn't the first *gasp*. I can't read series out of order so I quickly ordered Slave to Sensation online and then waited anxiously for it to arrive (this was pre Prime shipping). I fell in love from the first pages of StS and it's still my all time, favorite book.
I had started with angels blood which I found at the library when I was in high school so when I saw a copy of Slave to Sensation by the same author at a news stand I got a little excited cause I love the guild hunter series. I took the book home that night and read it from cover to cover and have been obsessed. Since then I’ve reread the series over and over and I’m happy to say it is my most favourite book series and probably will always be.
My first was Slave to Sensation back in late 2006 and loved it. Wow has it been that long? I’d read about it on a readers loop and was looking for something new. Then in 2007 I read Visions of Heat and that’s when you became an autobuy for me. I actually wrote to you after reading and I still have saved your response to me π I own every book in the series both in paper and in ebook format!
I was reading Lora Leigh's novella in The Magical Christmas Cat when I came across Annie, Zach, Sascha, Lucas and the rest of the changelings..And then I discovered the Angels Blood series.. The rest as they say is history. Have never missed a single book of yours. .
A friend of mine picked up the first two at our local bookstore (now sadly defunct) and passed them on to me with the highest praise. Since I adore shifter romance, I plunged into Slave to Sensation and was blown away. So incredibly good! I gobbled down the next one, sought out the rest and have been on auto-buy ever since. While restlessly waiting for the next Psy-Changeling book to come out, I tried Angel’s Blood and did the same thing all over again! Now I own everything and buy everything. If it’s Nalini Singh, I know I’m going to love it. Thank you so much for all the wonderful hours of delight your work has provided.
I was volunteering in the book sorting area of a goodwill intake center. A hardcover copy of 'Shield of Winter' came through and looked interesting. I read the cover blurb and noted the author name for checking out at the local library. Been a avid reader of her work since the first library borrow.
I had borrowed "A Magical Christmas Cat" from the library to read a Lora Leigh short story, but I always read all the stories in anthologies. To my delight, there was an enchanting love story about a leopard named Zach and a human named Annie. I was hooked! I went looking for the first book in the series, and an obsession was born! I devoured all of them as fast as I could, then have waited not so patiently for every book that has come since.
It took me a while to try the Guild Hunter novels. I read the blurb for Angel's Blood and didn't think it was for me. Then I caught a bit about Jessamy and thought, "I really want to read that one." But I don't like reading series out of order if I can help it, so I went to the first book and started reading. Now I'm not sure which series I love more!
The Rock Kiss series, well, ROCKS! The stand-alone Silhouettes are great. Honestly, I don't think Nalini could write a bad book if she tried!
I was lucky (or unlucky since I can only read 1/year!) to get Slave to Sensation WAY back when it was released. I've gotten them all since, been lucky enough to have met Nalini a few times at different events (even squeeed with her over Judd back when Caressed by Ice was released), shared how amazing her writing is with anyone that would listen & regularly reread all her series. She's been on my autobuy since STS & she'll never leave it. I ADORE her worlds.
"Wild Invitation" was my first one. I had been thinking of trying the series but I'm, not really a romance type of person so I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. I do love werewolves and shapeshifters though and have always been interested in Psy. Then the library was discarding "Wild Invitation" so I decided it would be a good way to decide if I liked the series or not. After I read it I went looking for more. Initially only used copies, which meant I did not read them in order, although that is usually my preference. After a few books I decided "these are definitely worth buying new!" and started looking for them at my local bookstores. I had to usually order them from Indigo because they didn't carry many of them at that time (now they carry a lot, but of course, just my luck, that only started after I ordered the last batch I needed to catch up!)
I actually would put off ordering them (usually in batches or three or four) and then put off reading the last several because I was enjoying the anticipation so much and I knew that once I read them I wouldn't have any more to look forward to. at least not for a while. On the other hand, at one point I read 5 of them in a row (somewhat in order) and still wanted more! That's never happened to me before! (or since, though it's only been a few years) I don't think I've ever read five in a row of a series before either without losing interest.
Now I can't wait for each new one, and am glad the paperbacks come out about 6 months after the hardcover! (although I usually can't wait that long and borrow the hardcover from the library first, and then buy the paperback when it comes out.) I've been caught up for about 3 years now. It probably took me about a year and a half or so to get there.
Oh! And I discovered early on about the newsletter and immediately signed up for it so I could get the short stories and stuff! Can't get enough of the series! (although I still have to catch up on all of the short stories on the website and the deleted scenes! Something to look forward to!)
Dear Nalini, my very first book from you was Angel's Blood. Once I read that book I couldn't wait for another (guild hunter series didn't exist yet). So I did what any obsessed fan would do. I hunted down every book you had ever written... and I do mean every. It so happens Slave to Sensation, Visions of Heat and Caressed by Ice was the first by post. It seemed only logical to start from Slave to Sensation and the rest of book series history. XD
I was stocking shelves and the cover of Slave to Sensation struck me right away. I read the blurb set it aside and agonized through the rest of my shift until I could take it home with me. I read it like lightening the first time and have devoured every release of Nalini's since then. I still like the original cover the best and very rarely say that. (Bit of a cover snob here been know to photoshop Foreign Covers if I like them better).
I ran across Slave to Sensation about 7-8 years ago and I had the first IPad and was looking to read on iBooks. I wanted a book in paranormal romance with more story than the storys I had read up to then. I literally was on a book page and saw the purple cover and thought ”that looks good” and read the blurb and bought it. After meating Sascha and Lucas I couldn’t put the book down and after I was done I read it all over again. This book is still my favrorite book of yours but Archangel's Prophecy is a close second.
Hi Nalini, I discovered Slave to Sensation soon after it was published during a browsing session at Borders. I could not wait to read it and when I started ... I read it that night! Since then I have read all the books in the series (numerous times) and I am anxiously awaiting Alexei's Story !
I was wandering through barnes and noble one day and Slave to Sensation popped put at me. Been a huge fan since! Coincidentally I also discovered Kresley Cole's Immortal After Dark series that day as well!
Beginning of last year I was just cruising through Amazon-Kindle store, trying to find somthing that might snag my interest. And I found "Silver Silence". It was a hook and done. I got so captivated. So I went online to see if there were more books like that one. And since then I have read every single Psy-Changeling series.... TWICE.... It was still fun to go back to the begining and see the conections to "Silver Silence".
This was followed by the entire Guild-Hunter Series. Including the novellas. Which I am reading for the second time now.
I can't wait for the next part of each story to come out.
Hi Nalini, I discovered Slave to Sensation one lazy afternoon, walking like a zombie in a rather large bookstore here. That time, I'm just looking for a good book to read and I somehow picked up Slave t o Sensation. At first, I was not that interested since changeling stories are not really my type, I'm more of an Angel story type. BUT. Slave to Sensation rocked my world and totally slaps me in the face. It changed my view with changeling themed stories. And I swear I love the first book that I started looking for the other books in the series and like.. inhaled all of it. And reread the whole series like five times now. And then I discovered your Guild Hunter series and just imagine my glee when I met Raphael. Not just an angel, but an ARCHANGEL. I just love him and Elena together and how I wish that I could find someone like him in real life. You don't want to know how many times I've read that series cuz it's reallllyyy insane. Since I can't find books with the same intensity as both of your series, I just satisfied myself rereading it again and again until your book release dates. I'm really looking forward with your new releases, it's all I think about during my free time.
I discovered Nalini and Psy-Changeling one afternoon where I bought myself a handful of anthologies that looked interesting at Chapters, and one was Burning Up, which I loved all the stories in... So did some research and found the series those stories were part of, and dove in. I think I spent most of the next week reading Nalini books non-stop (wonder how much money I spent lol).
I've re-read the Psy-Changeling books through at least twice all together (some more). I even chose my new middle name from one of my favourite characters (Vasic, my first name is from a different author lol).
I first spottet the truly beautiful cover of "Leopardenblut", the german book of "Slave to Sensation", in our local bookstore, in summer of 2008, when it first appeared in Germany. I bought and read it in between two days. I was hooked immediately. And then I had to get more of it.
But in Germany there were no follow ups yet, I would have to wait for a year or more for the next translated book. So I looked up the Internet for the originals and started to read the first four english volumes of Psy Changeling series, all of them in winter 2008. Since then I bought all the new ones on their first day. To this day I can´t wait to get all the new ones. Not only Psy-Changeling... Trinity, Rock Kiss and Hard Play too. And I never changed back to read the german books.
My first book was Branded By Fire, Mercy and Riley's story. I was just looking for new shifter romance at that time and picked it up from the library, I think. It was a long time ago when I was still in high school. Needless to say I got hooked and went digging for more and discovered the rest of Nalini Singh's books! Now she is one of my favorite authors and I wait every year for her new books! ❤
My love affair with all books Nalini began with Desert Warrior (which I still reread every once in a while btw) while she was still with Silhouette. I have waited with baited breath for every book since that faithful discovery so many moons ago.
Actually you have my daughter to thank. Every month my daughters & I go somewhere new & get ourselves some books, be it bookstore, garage sale, online, wherever there’s books we go...lol Well I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted so my one daughter handed me your book. Sorry I’m unable to remember which book. I was done after that. I needed all of them after that so I went to amazon & bought them all. Thank you for your wonderful world you created & your wonderful words!
Well, I started with Angels’ Blood on the library. Then I discovered there were other books, but not in my language! So I started reading in english...and I began to read all Nalini books!!
I was living in Vancouver at the time and I was at Chapters when I noticed the book. I remembered reading one of your Harlequins when i saw your name on the cover. I remember thinking how much I liked the title so I bought the book. Thst was it I was hooked and I haven't stopped since. I love these characters they are all wicked! Thank you Nalini don't ever stop writing. You're my number1. ππππcheers Heather p.s. I love the cover of Wolf Rain and I have a really good feeling about it❤❤❤❤❤
I think I came across the book at a used book store. I was immediately hooked. I am an avid fan of this series. Mz. Singh is one of 4 authors who are autobuys on Amazon for me. I just love this world and wish I could be a part of it.
I WISH I had the luxury of rereading this series! But I've got WAAAYYY too many other books I own that need reading. Many have been waiting for years, so I can't justify re-reading something I've already read, especially when there are so many of them and I KNOW I'd get sucked back in!
I heard about Nalini at one of my first NZSA meetings and went searching. Slave to Sensation was my first. My sister is named Sacha, which made reading StS even better. Then I read Angels Blood...and have sinse devoured each book as it hits the stand. Nalini is up there as one of my favourite authors!
I was recommended on facebook to read Nalini Singh. I have to admit I judged this book by it's title and cover. I thought it was a cheesy romance novel. So i avoided this series and read Guild hunter instead. I love this series so much. After reading Guild hunter I finally decided to try this series of what I thought would be a cheesy romance. Wow was I wrong. I was hooked from the first page. This was about 2 years ago and I have now done my third read of the entire series. It is one of the best series ever in my opinion. Nalini you are amazing, the world's you create are magical and these books pull on my heart strings.
My sister was given Jason's story, ArchAngel Storm. The cover and title caught my attention and then I read the intro. I took the book from her and devoured it. I immediately fell for the characters and the story line. Had to go back and read all the ArchAngel series. Then went on to reading the Psy-Changeling series. So glad I found these amazing stories.
I first read The Magical Christmas Cat anthology with Annie an Zack. On the strength of that I ordered the first three Pay-Changeling books. Now I'm buying them hard back.
My first Psy-Changeling book I brought was Mine to Possess. I was on my lunch break and stopped into the bookstore, started reading it while eating my lunch and went back after work and looked for more books but could only find Caressed by Ice so had to jump online and order them. Now I buy them all on ibooks and physical books - always great for a re-read.
I had just Read Angel's Blood and Needed More from this new author I had just fel madly in love with! So I downloaded the other series she had 5 books written for in a series that I came to love just as deeply. Needless to to say over the last 9 years I have collected all of Nalini's books!
I first picked up Slave to Sensation at my old Borders bookstore just after the 2nd book of the series was released. I was searching for something new to read and remembered a review I had read. Don't remember who wrote the review but it stuck in my mind. Looked at the back cover blurb and that was it. Can't wait for each new story be it book, novella, or online short story form. Anything Nalini writes is an auto buy for me.
I started with Slave to Sensation, I think I just read the cover blurb and thought it sounded good. It was also the first book by you I read. I was immediately hooked and have read everything you have written since then.
I was working at a job that allowed me to listen to "books on cd". I was looking for something I hadn't heard before. I saw "Kiss of Snow". I had read Nalini Singh Desire books, so I thought I would give it a try. Fell in love with the Psy-Changeling series immediately. Then went back to the beginning and started with "Slave to Sensation".
I actually got my introduction to the series by picking up a random anthology book at a local bookstore, It was Emmett and Ria's story that really caught my attention and I remember, completely forgetting the other stories included and just focusing on that one. Just like that, I was hooked. I went right back out and brought "Slave to Sensation" and never looked back. Since then, I have pretty much devoured every book that Nalini Singh has written.
I don't know how I ended up with a paperback version of Slave to Sensation or what caused me to pick it up. However, I do know that once I sat down to read it, I couldn't put it down. Finally at 3:30 AM, I finished the book. I remember being captivated by the sizzle, the world of the Psy, Changeling, and Humans, and drawn in by the mesmerizing characters that seemed to touch a part of me that was seldom drawn into books at that depth. I cried and agonized with Lucas near the end as he struggled to keep Sascha, and then shared the joy and catharsis of his final triumph. I still have that old paperback as well as the following 8 books in paperback. I switched to ebooks after that, and, while I may add those earlier ebooks to my library as I move to electronic, I will keep those paperbacks. I still pick them up and read them when I want to visit old friends and experience the emotions just as I watch old movies I love and listen to songs that continue to touch my heart. I'll never get rid of them....after all, how can you let go of "family?"
The first time I held "Leopardenblut" (the German edition of "Slave to Sensation") in my hands, I put it back on the shelf. The second time I read the first page and I couldn't stop reading. Since then I love the series and I started reading the books in English, because it was just too long until they where published in German.
was reading and re reading Guild Hunter faster than you could write them. Was email about Slave to Sensation in a newsletter and loved the story about the bears. From there I went on to read psy changeling series from 1 to 15 including novellas in three weeks - my credit card took a beating that month. Adored the cats and the wolves but Vasic stole my heart. So 2017-18 was a busy read.
I was looking for a new Author and new series to read after reading Christine Feehan's Dark Series. I started with Nalini's Guild Hunters series: Angels Blood and fell in love with Nalini's writing and how she depicted her characters in that series. Then I was thrilled that she had another series through my local library. After I was caught up with the Guild Hunters series, if you haven't read you need to asap, I just love Blue Bell. I fell in love with Lucas and Sascha and just kept reading through her last book. Can't wait for the next book, Wolfs Rain!!!! Nalini makes you feel like you have known these characters all your life and grew up next door to them. Her characters just jump out of the pages at you. Keep writing Nalini, can't get enough.
I was need book to read when I saw Vision of Heat in my local bookstore. And love it. When I searched in the net I found out that it was part of series so I look for StS and was hooked by this series since. Thank you Nalini for the story that brightens my day. Can’t wait for the latest book π
I actually started with Silver Silence, not realizing there was an entire set of books before that amazing ride! So I ordered them ALL, in glorious tactile paperback because internet is dodgy out here on the moors in Scotland. I'd just started recovering from a traumatic car accident and this amazing world really helped pull me through a difficult recovery. Thank you so much!
I was scrolling through my mom's kindle acct and came across Slave to Sensation. I fell in love with Lucas and Sasha. I binge read the 4 in my mom's kindle account in less than a week, then went and purchased those 4 plus the next 5 that happened to be available in the series. I've been hooked ever since.
I read Slave to Sensation from the library, it was on the New Zealand Authors section in the Invercargill Library - the book grabbed me so much I was hooked on the series, and everything else Nalini has written, I need some new books, a full set of the correct covers as mine are a mix due to living in various countries - I am planning on buying them as soon as I can ;) then requesting a signing of them all ;)
I was travelling by bus from my daughter and it is a 14 hour trip. I was looking for a book to read and walked into this little unknown book shop. I noticed Angel's Blood and the only reason I picked it up was it mentioned archangel and I love Archangels. Michael has always been my favorite but of course he has now been replaced Raphael. I bought the first 2 books and after reading them wanted to know if there was more. I went on to www.fantasticfiction.co.uk and saw all your books. Bought everything immediately. Of course my budget was screwed but I didn't care. I love your books and can't wait for the new ones to come out.
Slave to Sensation was my readers group book of the month to read not long after it was released. One of the best books we ever picked and I’m still loving the series and it is a re-read to this day.
I had already found and read Guild Hunter (kept popping up in “might also like” lists when I was reading Kate Daniels and Mercy Thompson, IIRC). I’d held off on Psy-Changeling, partly due to the early titles, and because I was mostly reading urban fantasy. However, I was on a long trip and wanted something to dive into, and gave Slave to Sensation a shot (early last year). It hooked me enough that I kept going, and I read through to Allegiance of Honor. I swore to hold off on Trinity until more was out, but only lasted until Ocean Light was released and quickly read Silver Silence and Ocean Light. And Wolf Rain’s been on preorder since. (I’m going to reread either from AoH or Shards of Obsidian forward in the couple weeks before release, so I’m ready. Haven’t decided how much I want to reread this go-around.)
I often browse Amazon and other book websites for interesting new releases. I read the synopsis and in case of interest put the book on my wishlist (and later buy it when there is same spare money for books). The same happened with "Slave to Sensation" years ago. I thought it an interesting story, bought it, read it, and loved it. Recently I succeeded in getting my sister hooked on all three series as well. That is really great because now I have somebody to talk with about them! As the lone reader of fantasy, sf and romances in my family (at least till now) that really is a welcome change!
I want to use this opportunity to congratulate you, Nalini, for your very convincing description of people that have suffered abuse. I suspect you experienced abuse yourself or know someone who did intimately. I sadly was sexually abused in my puberty and know therefore very well the devastating consequences. I am 41 now and still cannot trust men at least regarding an intimate, sexual relationship. Your book "Rock Hard" was especially moving for me. I have never met a man with such patience regarding sexual trauma. Rather the opposite, actually, which is why I am single and never had a meaningful relationship. But you describe Gabriel so convincingly that your description rekindled my hope that such men actually exist. Thank you.
I read 'Slave to Sensation' when it first came out and have been hooked ever since on all of Nalini's series, which like Steph and others I have read multiple times. I have multiple favourites, but my all time favourite is 'Heart of Obsidian', I waited for his story and it did not disappoint.
Thank You Nalini for sharing your amazing creativity and heart with us, I always look forward to the next and have enjoyed every moment, laugh, cry, gasp.... A glass of wine and one of your books is one of my favourite happy places.

So I decided I needed to read them all to justify the expense (as if I needed an excuse!) So I read all of the books in order in the remaining 9 days leading up to Heart of Obsidian's release.
I came in on book 2, Visions of Heat. I have been in since almost the beginning! :)
I went to a book store to find something to read and came across your psy/changeling series. Got books 3 and 4 realized my mistake went back got 1 and 2 read from beginning.
I think I started in 2010/2011 a friend in university had recommended it to me. I haven't looked back since. One of the best recs ever!
Quite a few years back. There where already two translatedt to German and then I switched to English bcs I couldn t wait to read more of them
In 2014, I saw Rock Addiction on Netgalley and requested it based on the blurb.
(Another author I discovered that day was kresley cole with a hunger like no other.)

A few years ago Felicia Day ran a YouTube monthly book group called vaginal fantasy book club. Slave to sensation was one of the early episodes

I bought the 1rst books of the serie in 2012, thanks to Patricia Briggs or Christine Feehan recommendation.
Then each new book becomes an auto-buy.
Hi Nalini,
I had read all your harlequin books, so when I saw Slave to Sensation (I own the purple cover edition too!) in the bookstore, I was all in. The rest is as you say, history! I love all your books.
Thanks for writing!
Yours in chocolate,
Stephanie

Visions of Heat...I love the world you created.
I read Zach and Annie's story in an anthology book with another author I loved and been loving all your books since!
I don't remember which book I read first but I got addicted and now I'm a Nalini Singh fan. Pretty sure I've read everything out there.
Keep up the awesome work! I'll keep reading it. I'm living in anticipation for Archangels War.π
Keep writing Nalini and I shall keep reading!!!
In either a Walden's or Borders bookstore. Neither bookstores or companies exist anymore, but the book does.
I love the cover of Wolf Rain and I have a really good feeling about it❤❤❤❤❤
Slave to Sensation was 10 years ago! That is so hard to believe it feels like it was yesterdayπππ
I think I came across the book at a used book store. I was immediately hooked. I am an avid fan of this series. Mz. Singh is one of 4 authors who are autobuys on Amazon for me. I just love this world and wish I could be a part of it.
I came across your name when I was looking on BN online! I got the first one and haven't stopped yet! Love your books~
