My favorite book this week was Piper J Drake's Fierce Justice (True Heroes #5) which released while I was glomming the Guild Hunter series last week.

I also read Carla Neggers' Heart on a String (one of her old Loveswept category romances) and Judith Arnold's In the Dark (Hotel Marchand #1). The Hotel Marchand is a multi-author series from Harlequin.

Wild Country by Anne Bishop - Good addition to the series. I saw something online that said she's leaving this series, at least for a while, and returning to writing something in the Black Jewels series. It was a scary story, but addicting and I will miss visiting the Others once a year.
I also read Human Familiar, Void Mage, Remnants and Echoes by Honor Raconteur. I didn't like this series as much as some others, but it was a nice light and fun fantasy series to fill a couple of days while I recuperated from a virus.

I read Lois McMaster Bujold's Knife Children, and re-read some of Zenina Masters's Crossroads stories.

Bewitched and betrayed by Lisa Shearin. Fantasy, great read with elves, goblins, dark mages... a very strong female character, action, humour and some romance.Highly recommended.
