OCEAN LIGHT
June 2018
New York Times bestselling author Nalini Singh dives beneath the surface of her Psy-Changeling world into a story of passionate devotion and selfless love...
Security specialist Bowen Knight has come back from the dead. But there’s a ticking time bomb in his head: a chip implanted to block telepathic interference that could fail at any moment—taking his brain along with it. With no time to waste, he should be back on land helping the Human Alliance. Instead, he’s at the bottom of the ocean, consumed with an enigmatic changeling...
Kaia Luna may have traded in science for being a chef, but she won’t hide the facts of Bo’s condition from him or herself. She’s suffered too much loss in her life to fall prey to the dangerous charm of a human who is a dead man walking. And she carries a devastating secret Bo could never imagine…
But when Kaia is taken by those who mean her deadly harm, all bets are off. Bo will do anything to get her back—even if it means striking a devil’s bargain and giving up his mind to the enemy…

Blissful hot liquid poured over Bo, the thin needles stabbing deliciously into his scalp and skin. The last time he’d consciously felt the touch of water had been in that Venetian canal, cool dark closing over his head. He couldn’t actually remember hitting the water, but he remembered Lily’s frantic eyes and searching hands, remembered the starburst in his chest, remembered the water sliding into his mouth and into his lungs.
Gripping the memories in a tight fist, he raised his face deliberately to the droplets raining from the showerhead. As it sluiced away the past, running over his face and down his shoulders to his chest, his mind flashed to that semisecond when Kaia had been in touching distance, the curves of her a siren song.
His body stirred.
He shoved his hands through his hair and shook his head to dislodge the sensory impact of her. But no matter what he did, her scent continued to haunt him. Ever after he used the shampoo and soap from the dispensers on the wall, he was haunted by the warmth of cinnamon and the luscious bite of a tropical flower.
It lingered on his tongue as strongly as the echo of her wild fury.
Frowning, Bo finally shut off the water. He let himself drip dry for several minutes before he leaned forward and dragged a towel from the rail. Rubbing his hair with the towel, he considered everything Kaia had said and done. She was angry with him, this woman he’d never before met, incredibly angry, yet she’d helped bring him back to life.
His instincts stretched awake. Bo had spent his adult life unearthing secrets and unravelling enigmas. It seemed fitting that he spend what might be his final weeks attempting to solve the mystery that was Kaia.
A bunching of his muscles, his hand fisting to bone-white tightness.
And he made a decision—he wouldn’t waste the time he had and he wouldn’t consider death an inevitability. He’d live. Protect his people. Laugh with his sister and his friends. Kiss a cook with angry brown eyes and a scent that frustrated and haunted.
If Bowen Adrian Knight was to cease to exist, he’d go out on his own terms.

Oh blurb and except as well as the cover!? You are so good to us, Nalini.
Squee! I am so psyched to finally get Bowen's story. And I hope to love Kaia as well.
Yay!
OMG! OMG!! OMG!!! I cannot wait! I want to read it now so, so badly! :D
Can't wait to read this book. So happy that Bo has made it this far. Exited for the release.
The question of Bo surviving the gunshot at the end of Silver Silence is answered. Now, it's the "how does the implant he has gets taken care of?" question.
The cover is stunning as always when Tony Mauro does them.
Thank you Nalini!

That cover is stunning! Love seeing Venice so lovingly painted in color. Can't wait for Bo's story, too.
Love the cover and the blurb, Nalini!
As for the Interviews from your Newsletter - I love to her everything for whats coming next, but I must say that I don't know why some people would love to see a romance between Aodhan ans Illium. For me it would be the last thing I wan't to read because after Reading all your books I don't see them as couple - they have such an true und amazing friendship - I'dont get it, why people interpret more in this. Since I read book 1 and met Illium I was wondering WHO will be the woman that can challenge with his old love or elena, and I never ever think it could be a male. Same for aodhan.
I know you said you will deal With the big question who is next in 2018 and that the Charakters speak to you what will happens next but for me, I don't hear as a reader nothing from them both about a romance between them in the last books ;) :D
I love your work and your one of my favorite authors.
Greetings From Germany

I love it. The cover is stunning.
I don't see either Illium and Aodhan as a couple. For me they are good friends.
An answer and a big question all in one ... Bowen Knight survives .. but how will he continue to survive ? :)
Fabulous cover !!!
As usual the wait is excruciating ...
Wonderful cover, and thank you for the excerpt. Bless you for the glimpse of what's ahead. Now I just have to wait for June somehow.
So happy that Bo survived. Lily was so devastated I cannot imagine what his loss would have done to the Alliance. Iloved the story of Silver and her Valentin ! The only darkness was Bo being shot so glad to find out he survived. Love all your books have all of them and have re read all at least 5 times. They are well worth being re read. I can hardly wait till the next Psy-Changeling and/or Guild Hunter book. Creators blessings. Thank you for the many hours of pleasure you have given me. Sincerely, Rosalita Shipman
Oh man oh man! I can't wait. I've been waiting to find out who'll be up next and I can honestly say I didn't expect Bo for some reason. The way things ended for him from the last book made him the last guy I'd expect to appear in the next installment. This sounds intriguing and I'm eager and excited to find out more. Summers are great coz your books always come out during that time. Been waiting eagerly when I came across Slave to Sensation. Lucas and Sascha are still one of my top favorites coz they practically introduced me to this whole thing.
Will eagerly and patiently wait for next summer!
Thank you for such an awesome cover ♡ Already preordered ♡ But no happiness to be found 'cuz I have no desire to read alpha Bo's story. Yet I do know Ocean Light will be another spectacular book like always. Kaleb will still walk around and bring me all the happiness I need ♡
Wow. This cover -is- exquisite. And amazing about who the hero is! Thank you for sharing.
so sad that its Bo'so story. ... hope he realises here that the Psy too have their good and bad ..my hope that here he will regret his harsh thoughts about Kaleb and other dear psy is the thing which makes me look forward to it.
The cover is gorgeous, and both blurb and excerpt quite promising. Nevertheless I have to admit I'm not much into Bo and Kaia being a chef doesn't sound too excitig (which is totally on me, I'm just not much into food). But since I know the writing will be just way too awesome and there'll certainly be glimpses to other people's lives, I won't miss out on Ocean Light.
I am salivating right now to read Bo's story. Please...Please...Please...Do not tease. I live my life vicariously through those characters which you bring to life.
