Just got (and read) Lois McMaster Bujold's new Penric novella, PENRIC'S FOX, which is delightful. There are five novellas so far in this series, set in her Five Gods world, and this might be the best one yet All are available in the e-version and some of the early ones are in hardcover by Subterranean Press, except for the first, PENRIC'S DEMON, which is out of print and climbing in collectible value. Yeep. Also re-read Nalini's ALLEGIANCE OF HONOR and SILVER SILENCE. So good.
Read a few more duds, but I had mostly a good reading week.
I ended up really enjoying Nicole Helm's So Wrong It Must Be Right (Gallagher & Ivy #1).
My favorite read of the week was Nicole Helm's Need You Now (Mile High Adventures #1).
I also liked Veronica Scott’s Two Against the Stars (Sectors #11), Coleen Kwan’s Kissing Her Enemy (Pine Falls #2), and Tessa Bailey’s Up in Smoke (Crossing the Line #2).
I'm on a Michelle Diener binge. I found some of her books for the Nook. So far I've read: In a Treacherous Court, In Defense of the Queen, and Keeper of the King's Secret. They are in the time of King Henry the 8th. I'm about ready to read Dangerous Sanctuary. These books are her earliest work.
After that I'll be reading Banquet of Lies.
I really like her storytelling. In the books I mentioned she mixes history with fiction. Great reads!
If you liked her other books and haven't read these, I highly recommend them.
Couldn't afford to go anywhere for vacation this year, so I brought in provisions, surveyed my shelves, and decided to head for Pern. Been tearing through the Ninth Pass.
Thank you for the heads up about Penric's Fox, by Lois Bujold. I got it and read it immediately. Also read Karen Chance's Lover's Knot, and Veronica Scott's Two Against the Stars, David's Debt by Mikayla Lane, and Rice Cooker Meals by Neal Bertrand.

i finished number 10, 11, and 12 of the Alex Delaware series. I like a good mystery. :)

I thought I'll try a triller. Started Mörder Park by Jonas Winter. So far it's very morbid.
