Catchup Time

It's been a while since we've caught up. What are you up to at the moment? I've been working on the next Psy-Changeling book, but I've caught a bit of a cold this week, so I haven't been able to do as much as I would've liked. Okay, your turn!

I've been trying to stay home, but stuck playing chauffeur for various relatives all week.

Trying to stay out of the heat and humidity as much as possible. I get to work from home so that helps. Also, reading good books.

Get well soon!

Get well soon !!!

Have been reading Georgette Heyer "These Old Shades" - I think this is the only story where in spite of the vast age difference between the hero and heroine and all the political "incorrectness" (He hates the low-born, she sits at his feet, He snaps his fingers at her etc)- She still managed to make it a believable HEA story that I can read again and again ....

No one else has come even close imo ! :)

Hope you are better soon! I'm busy with volunteer work and a re-read of J. D. Robb's Eve Dallas series. Also trying to avoid as much as possible the heat and humidity. Eagerly awaiting another Psy-Changeling book!

Looking forward to my vacation beginning tomorrow. Decided to take two weeks in a row, never have before. I imagine it will be that much harder to come back and since weird stuff seems to happen at my workplace when I am not there I am concerned what I might come back to!
We did not make it to the local Steampunk festival last weekend. Schedules and stormy weather interfered but I did get in the mood rereading Kady Cross's Steampunk Chronicles.
I am going to use my Steampunk cosplay Labour Day Weekend (first weekend in September) when Toronto's Fan Expo is going on. I will also be cosplaying as Donna Noble's character from the Doctor Who episode Turn Left. This means I will have a giant insect on my back - my daughter is refusing to walk anywhere near me. I am planning on getting a photo taken with Catherine Tate who played Donna so I thought this was an appropriate cosplay. She is my favourite companion so I am very excited!
