Very Important Q&A!

Agree. LOL.

I wish I'd followed something similar back in my younger years. I have a number of holes in my collections due to books which were never returned :(

Totally agree which is why I have stopped doing this and direct people to the library. Loaned whole collection of JD Robb to my sister in law; came back one missing but she swore she gave all that she had been given (still think it is somewhere in her RV). This was before days of e-books and reprints. Very hard to fill hole. A few years later a friend asked to borrow a selection for her house bound mother. I put in book plates with my name (not something I had done in the past) and made sure to only give books that it would not break my heart to never see again. And I never did!!
These days half my books are e-books so I just tell them to go to library since I can't loan whole series. Hmmm - I just remembered I loaned an Ilona Andrews to my son and he hasn't given it back and he still lives at home! Time for a room cleaning!!

I laughed when I saw the diagram. I had to hide my books from my mom because she would "borrow" books I liked and didn't give them back. Oh to have those days again.

Now when I said someone could borrow my one of my statistics books, no one took me up on it. He-he-he.

I do more than 24 hours, but only with a sister that I visit every other day. Though she does read quickly.

I have an e-reader which makes it very hard to lend books.
